I wish I shared your optimism about Lance. If the last 30 years have taught me anything, it’s wait and see. I’ll not tune in to any game that Dak starts under center this season. The first game Lance sees action, I’m all in again. At least he’s an unknown who may develop. If nothing else, let’s bottom out and draft a QB in the first round in next years draft. I know it’s a pipe dream with JJ and Co. to put ANY stock in the most important position on the field but that’s the only thing that can overcome this inept front office. As many have said, it’s a full blown circus.

Boggles my mind what has anybody, that follows this league or did back in 2019 in NCAA Division I football, seen about Trey Lance that makes them think this guy has what it takes to succeed in this league. Dude played one season, albeit a pretty good one at that, of college football 5 years ago.

He hasn't shown anything that would give anyone the feeling he is going to be a star. in fact just the opposite.

and no, this is not a Dak support comment. this is we need to keep looking for the future QB comment.

Sounds more like wishful thinking...more likely that the the Cowboys will struggle with Dak and struggle even more with Trey than what you are projecting.
