We've worn out the discussion on pick #16 but I haven't seen any kind of consensus on our 2nd round pick. Obviously its hard to predict who will and won't be there, but who are some realistic options you see us targeting?

For me barring any major drop: Attoachu, Easley, Joyner, Crichton

Here is who I have in the range of #47 in my Big Board
....a lot would depend on the first pick (of course)...I see Crichton going late first. early second and not being there...Attaochu is very interesting

I think it would be wise to add JuWuan James OT to that second rd list. IMO it makes a difference who we draft in the 1st as to whom we will take in the second.

James/Easley(if the knee is OK)/Crichton/Attaochou could be available at 47(everyone except Easley starts 2014). I do not see Pryor or Marqise Lee sliding this far and really do not see any RB for us before the 3rd/4th.

I think 47 is going to the the OG pick.

Who though? If Bitonio falls I can see that, but I don't see anyone else honestly. Would be too high for Gabe Jackson, Billy Turner, or Trai Turner and they are the guards we have showed interest in. One of them will be there in the 3rd

It's hard to have a discussion about #47 when we don't know what #16 will be. A lot of it depends on 1) who we draft in the 1st, 2) if we trade back in the 1st, and 3) who falls to the 2nd that we didn't expect to fall.

If we can land Barr at #16, then I think we most definitely go after Easley, but we'd probably trade up a few spots in the 2nd to get him. If we miss out on Barr, I can see us trading back in the 1st to get Easley, or maybe trade back to get Lawrence and hope Easley is there at #47. Then there's always the possibility that we get Donald at #16, in which case I see #47 going to the best available DE or OL.

Joyner would be pretty sweet there. I think he's my first choice, provided Easley is taken

Also think Billy Turner, Kareem Martin, Gabe Jackson, Attachou, Jason Verret, Bitonio are all good options. Its a very exciting round. Jernigan may fall. And I love Sutton but most seem to think he's a third rounder.

We will have plenty of talk about #47 on Thursday night and all day Friday. I also think we will have a better feel of it later. Just saying it is kind of hard to get a grip on what will happen in the first. Let alone the second... Yet :)

I think you just got to take who drops to you regardless of position. This team has so many holes and more will pop up during the season. You have a chance to get a real nice player right away at 47. Ideally, maybe one of the guys you have at a first round grade. Just trust your board.

Obviously, what we do at 16 effects #47... but I love Attaochu there if we didn't go edge rusher in the first. I like his physical ability but I love his intangibles too.

Would be a very good pick IMO.

I also want Dallas to keep an eye out for a couple of guys who could slide out of the first and into the early second like Jernigan or Shazier. If they do I would look to go up and get them.

Would be great if we could trade back our 1st and get another 2nd. There's a lot of talent in the 2nd from DE to DT to OL to WR to LB to S.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jerny falls into the mid second. The pos test plus being a 1 tech can make him drop further. The only thing that worries me is that day between where the teams realign their boards, and realize who has fallen/hasn't.

Kouandjio. 20 year old OT. Even though he had injury issues he was dominant at Alabama.

LT - Tyron Smith
LG - Trai Turner
C - Travis Frederick
RG - Doug Free? idk
RT - Cyrus Kouandjio

Yummy.
