Truth? Yes sir, I honestly believe that of a lot of posters. Note, I said "they" and you took it to mean "you." Feeling some guilt? Not my fault.

Speaking of transparency...

You want to know why I say this? Because after the win last week there were about a dozen of the regular complainers who were silent for days (yes days). It took a Jerry GM thread and a Wade bandwagon thread to get some of them to crawl out from under their rocks.

I know this is the case. I was here, as I am every week, happy about the big win. True, I wasnt ready to annoint us the NFC champs yet as many here were, but I was very positive.

I said look at the traffic number hours after a loss and then do the same thing the same number of hours after a win. By all means check it yourself. Look at the active users right now and count the threads created in anger. Then do the same exact thing after we win for over joyed threads. The difference will either scream truth in your face or go right over your head.

I don't deny this one bit. I said I think it is silly to think that most of them are actively rooting against Dallas just so they can complain. Losing hurts as a true fan. It isnt the worst thing in the world, but damn loses liek this suck. You have no idea how much I love waking up monday morning and lsitening to NFL talk after a boys win, and how much I want to ignore it all when we lose. I hate seeing Dallas lose, it has been known to ruin my entire sunday afternoon/evening.

That's cute

I'm still waiting to hear a defense of Garrett and Wade from you. What amkes you think they have what it takes to get us to where we want to go? What from this year or any other gives you that opinion?

Or are you just trying to give off the cool kid vibe?
Let me ask you something and don't trip over yourself trying to be honest. When have I ever been a Wade Phillips fan who defends his every move?

Garrett, I absolutely do. I think the people who claim he doesn't know anything about football are absolute fools. I bend over backwards trying not to respond to the idiots and their ginger commentary.

Here's a truth for you man. Every good football mind has bad game plans. Even greats like Lombardi, Shula, Landry, and anyone else you want to name. Football knowledge is not measured over one game as I already said in bold red 7 font to you once before. It is measured over an entire season.

If you think this team is already dead then you are stupid. Period. Could they die? Hell yes. I have never said differently. But for the love of cognizant thought processes stop telling me that single games are indicators of the future. That is a load of crap. I can show you a loss for every Super Bowl champion except one. It is a moronic stand and always has been regardless of what the end results end up being.

...the denial is deep in the NFC East i'm afraid...spend enough time on each teams messageboard and you would agree...

...man...0 points on offense in 58 minutes of football?...Detroit was shut out but are we going to not hold this team to a higher standard...

...today was just complete and utter embarrassment for a team with a habit of such performances...

While this was awful, we have rarely looked this bad, even under Wade. This game was Campo-esque

See, this is all I was asking for. I don't care if you are critical of me, I just wanted a reasoning behind your disagreement. It's pretty generic, but I'll take it. ;)

The only other thing I'll say is in response to this

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Byt that definition, Jason Garrett and Wade Phillips are off the wall nuts, as are those of us who keep expecting their coachign to imrpove after all the past evidence that says it will not. Jason Garrett's "past success" consists of the first 12 games of the 2007 season. Since then, he has been so hit and miss it is maddening. Feast or famine, big play or turnover, etc. Teams figured him out, and he has yet to fully adjust in almost two full seasons. Wade Phillips "past success" involves him doing what he has done here everywhere else: Get off to hot starts, lose in december, and lose in the playoffs. After 20 years, no reason to think it's going to change now

Insanity.

Tony Dungy won his first Super Bowl after 11 seasons as coach.

Bill Belichick won his first superbowl in his 7 th season as a HC

Landry won his first championship in his 12th season as coach.

John Madden won his first Super Bowl in his 8th season as coach

**** Vermiel won his first Super Bowl in his 9th season as coach

Bill Cowher won his first Super Bowl in his 14th season as coach.

Insanity.

Does it hurt? Talking out of both sides of your face like that? Acknowledge everything I said as true and call me transparent in the same breath.

What was that farmer's dog's name?

Never that I can recall

Look carefully through my posts, I think Garrett knows football. He's a smart guy. My issue is that his gameplans are too consistent to be successful and he does not make good adjustments (and rarely makes any at all).

Completely agree, but Garrett has made a trend out of bad gameplans and poor adjustments over the course of 3 seperate seasons. His poor playcalling is THE biggest reason why we did nothing in the 2007 postseason. Even as bad as it was, we still should have beaten New York. That is how much talent this team had/has.

I think they are very much alive, Hell I think it would take an epic collapse to miss the playoffs. We have 3 games eft against awful teams, one against a crubbling Giants team, and a home game against Philly to end the year.

I would jsut be stunned if we make any noise in the postseason

Garrett's playcalling is not why we lost the 2007 playoff game.

Every coach you listed was held in high regard by fans, players and fellow coaches, at least in terms of coaching ability.

There arent many people around the league who will list Wade Phillips among the coaching elite.

Then admit your rant towards me is about your own anger and not my thoughts or opinions. Fair enough?

Bob Sturm disagrees with you too. He classifies Garrett as one of the hardest OCs to figure out because he has no patterns. Bryan Broaddus, a professional scout backs up Bob Sturm.

Just food for thought. I put more stock in actual football knowledge than emotions every day.

I think they are very much alive, Hell I think it would take an epic collapse to miss the playoffs. We have 3 games eft against awful teams, one against a crubbling Giants team, and a home game against Philly to end the year.

I repeat, I don't think we go as far as I need us to. I need us to win it all. I don't think we will. I'll take a single win in the post season at this point just to shut up the 13 year drought parrots. But that single win won't satisfy me.

I don't have a dog in this fight, so I'm not going to get involved. I will say this. There are always going to be more posters on line after a loss (except if the team were to win an NFC title or the Super Bowl). It's just common sense. People post after a loss to vent. They're mad. It's always easier to come up with things to post after a loss. Again, common sense. One thing I will comment on is Garrett. I think he's in over his head. I don't care where our offense is rated. You don't win games simply by piling up stats. We don't have the stomach to run the ball consistently and we will never compete for a Super Bowl until we develope that. When we do run the ball, it's a draw or some other gimicky play. We need to use our strength and that's our RBs and our big O line. We need to line up and ***** slap opposing defenses, but we don't do that. Poor playcalling.

What does that have to do with your premise?

Oh that's right, nothing.
