Thank you. I won't respond to him and a couple of other guys when they blather about Roy Williams. Waste of my time. I am glad someone else notices. Thank you again.

I can relate to the Rolaids. I had Tums and wanted my beloved Nyquil.

Love that stuff.

Hos meant Owens.

He clearly is in rue mode. He misses him some Owens.

What did you say? "Let it go. It leads no where."? :)

Not bitter, buddy, but maybe you have some unresolved bitterness? I just find it funny how most of your post was about how to get Witten more involved into the offense. You see Witten actually contributes...unlike that waste of a WR you have proudly defending. Until he contributes or gets bench, this offense will not improve. Why not be honest and talk about that instead of the fluff?

I miss the flu I had two weeks ago more.

I bet the TO sniffers pimped his game today though. Especially with Roy not getting it done again.

I don't know what sports you watch, but the team that has the most points when time expires deserves to win.

I've played sports all my life...there are times you win when you didnt deserve too...today was definitely a classic case of that

we played a terrible game against a lousy team and won by a single point, at home

I haven't defended Williams in a long, long time. I have avoided talking about him at all for several weeks because people over react to anything I do say about him. Especially if it is positive.

Do an advanced search if you doubt me. There's your honesty. Can you accept it?

For the bitterness, avoid pickles, lemons, and other pucker power foods.

The evidence was pretty glaring, but thank you for reminding me of my own advice.

Well, why not talk about RW? Talk about everything. If you can’t, then that’s no fun.

And or some odd unknown reason, my advanced feature has not worked in months.

Not sure what you ment by the pickles, lemons comment, but i am sure it sounded witty and creative.

the only problem with using witten on deep routes like most of you want, including me, you cant for one basic reason

teams if you notice are doubling witten, and when they arent you have to realize that witten has to stay in and block some now that doug free is blocking. Witten has to chip some, to give romo some more time to throw.

What i see is this, our wrs arent getting open in 1st and 2nd quarter, which makes it harder for the offense to function effectively.

The next 3 weeks you will see how good the cowboys are after the oakland game.

And if you think we can play this way in the game up in dc against the Commanders, your kidding yourselves.

Why, the Commanders didnt have haynesworth today, portis, one of their offensive linemen got hurt today, just like betts got hurt.

Dont know yet if cooley will be able to play in that matchup or not, but it might be critical that we can win that game up in DC.

I saw another thing not sure if you all saw it or not, but from what i could tell in certain passing situations, Sensabaugh seemed to be sitting down in coverage on runs and passes, like the last line of defense. Could be possibly that is what the cowboys are wanting the safety to do like ken hamlin was doing, kinda like the cover 2 tecnique, you dont allow defenders to get deep behind you. I think that the cowboys are having sensabaugh stay back in coverage and run support as last line of defense.

Just my thoughts, but go back and look at some footage, you dont see sensabaugh too much in run support and most of the time back in pass coverage.

Till watkins steps up, we might be in trouble covering the center of the field on pass coverage, those routes were mostly open tonight.

Ball is still learning and improving, but watkins who has been here like 5 years isnt doing the job he should.

Joe i think we can officially say Watkins has hit his apex, and really doesn't haven't the talent to help in the secondaryo on a consistant basis.

I'm okay with keeping Pat Watkins on this team. He's our new special teams ace.

Like I said, I tire of over reactions to what I say. Let's be honest, I will always be blamed by some for Roy Williams being here. I have no idea why. All I did was report the tips I was being given. Yet he is "my boy" and I get pointed questions about him non stop from 3 or 4 posters who act like petulant children. To what purpose does it serve me to talk about him?

I am not satisfied with his personal stats or contributions, but I have never been all that focused on those things except from QBs. Can you agree with that, or do you still need to chastise me more for not saying enough to be critical of people you are critical of?

I am very much a black and white poster. I don't usually over react to anything. I am not that high after wins and I am never too low after losses. That seems to bother you. I have no idea why.

I figured the skins would come out and play the best game of their season and they did.

I was happy with the way the defense performed. They are getting better by the week and we'll need them to lead the way in the playoffs.

Romo had a tough day but the play calling seemed a little out of sync as well. When your running it down peoples throats and they load up to stop it you make the pay with play action. We didn't do that. It's like we're run or pass exclusively and not capitalizing on any success we may have in either area.

The team didn't quit, the offense got points when they needed to and the defense closed the deal with an interception.

Yes, there was a boatload of negative things that need correcting, but the team never panicked and got the job done.

Thats what I liked as well. They kept fighting and won building on what was started in KC.

I would call more of a lucky win. Suisham hits one of the FGs and we are probably talking loss here, I'll take it though. Seems like if the team starts slow on offense (except Atlanta) it really does not get on track. Usually for the same reason, start a nice drive, shoot themselves in the foot. I blame the players execution more than I blame coaching.

We did get a few lucky breaks today just like the giants did earlier in the season. In the end a W is a W and I'm happy with that. :D

Normally the first thing my eyes would travel to would be the NFC East standings. Indeed first place in the NFC East still looks favorable, as does the 2-1 record in the Division. What doesn't look favorable right now is the Offensive performance.

Welcome to over reaction time, 7-6 over a woeful Commanders team just isn't good enough of a showing. Not for this Offense anyway.

On the positive side for the Offense, people got the offensive balance they were screaming for after last week. It's too bad that didn't lead to the points that they swore were there if we just would stick with the run.

Let's be honest about scoring right now, everyone is struggling. Right down to the FG Kicker we had been calling "Money" up until recently. The entire scoring contingent is in a horrible funk and at the wrong time of the year.

I don't see anything that is not fixable. The question is, how hard will they work to fix it? Whereas I felt we needed the ugly win against the Eagles, the only good thing about this ugly win is that it was a win. I don't think the team can feel too good about the future if things don't change a little.

One thing that doesn't need to change is the way the Defense is performing. I would love to see more sacks and takeaways, but I will take the points allowed the last 3 games any time. The reason we are 2-1 over the last 3 games is directly proportional to the efforts of this Defense. I tip my hat to them.

Okay, I said the ills seem to be fixable. I will be honest, I think we need to look for Jason Witten a lot more than we have been. Not just on little 8 and 9 yard passes either. We need some 20+ yard variety. There are too many defenders near the LOS for this Offense to be wide open. Okay, so I will admit I am a huge fan of his and want to see more, but there is such a thing as too balanced. Sometimes you have to exploit the mismatches and no one matches up with Jason. On top of that he seems to fire up this team.

I was pleased with the running attack today overall. I just wish they would have been more explosive in the red zone. I think controlling the football with the run and passes to the TEs brings the deep stuff to Austin and Williams and Crayton back.

As dissatisfied as I am with the performance, the win salves that dissatisfaction a little. I promised myself not to have huge emotion swings this year. Keeping my eye on the prize I want, an NFC East Championship and a playoff win, was to be my focus. That focus goes blurry sometimes, but it can't disappear.

An ugly win? Absolutely. Was an ugly win needed like against the Eagles? I can't say it was. I think we needed a blowout win. Ultimately, I have promised to take the wins regardless of how they happen. I'll take it.

winning is like deodorant.
