A Touch of Hostility

Yay.

And let us not forget: At least we're getting a new HC next year. That's what keeps me going.

:laugh2: That was a great read, nothing like a good long rant to ease the pain.

I'll just say this about Bollinger. He wasn't born and raised in Wisconsin like Romo, but he played his college ball here, started all four seasons, and took his team to the Rose Bowl. He led Wisconsin to a 30-12 record as a starter, 3-0 in bowl wins, and took the team record for QB rushing yards.

So he's atleast got "A Lil Romo In 'Im"!

Can't be much worse than Brad "Back In My Day We Played With Leather Hats" Johnson, anyway. The only thing that guy needs to QB is a good Lay-Z-Boy.

I actually saw Bobby make a couple plays while filling in for James yesterday.

You know, I still got hope for Carpenter.

I don't know why he gets such a bad wrap.

I'm going to have to see video proof of that. I also want a notorized certificate of authenticity.

Sorry for the hassle, but seems like a fraudulent claim to me.

I stopped watching ESPN about 4 years ago.

Wait...The Commanders are "panty wastes" ?

That is BS. I know you are frustrated and even pissed off. Yet they are not 1-3 over the last four. Request a mirror for the Cowboys.

First play after James injury, Carpenter came right in a stopped Jackson for a little gain. Actually made a nice solo tackle, which is more than what I saw James do yesterday. Btw I am not a Bobby supporter just stating the facts.

Since this game has grown uncompetitive, we switch you to "Ranting with Hos," already in progress.

That's never been the case with me. I hate them cuz they dramatize incidents with teams (not just the cowboys) and create stories instead of reporting them.
This is absolutely true. It can be a player, owner, coach or media person... ESPN takes a story and just beats it to death. It's what they do. They talk about it in the morning, in the afternoon and all night long. SC, ESPNews, ESPNRadio, ATH, PTI, 1st and 10, Morning Pizza, etc, etc, etc...

Unless, of course, the person involved is actually an ESPN/ABC/Disney employee. Then the person can say or do anything and it will be a forbidden topic on the ESPN networks.

Great first post. Welcome to the board.

Nothing leads me to believe Bollinger will supplant Brad, despite it seemingly being a more palatable option at this point.

Ditto on promoting Bollinger if Romo can't go. He's certainly more mobile than BJ (who isn't?), has a stronger arm than BJ (who doesn't?), and he has won games in this league.

Johnson has won a Super Bowl in this league, but that was 6 years ago. I didn't expect such incompetence from our 2nd string QB. I would take my chances with a rookie before Johnson.

Me neither. He is shot. Did they not notice this in camp?

If not camp, how about those preseason games where it was confirmed he couldn't pass beyond 10 yards?

Yeah seeing "Suck" in a 30+ year old stadium is one thing, but seeing it in a brand new $1,000,000,000 stadium is on a whole new level of "Suck".

Hey now, don't sell the new stadium short! You've never fully experienced "suck" before until you see it on Jerry World's larger than life hanging "Suck-O-Tron". Time to live it up!

I noticed it in preseason, so surely the coaches must have noticed. But then again, they claim to know more than the average fan.

He struggled against the other team's camp fodder, and his INT in preseason made me want to toss my cookies. There is a reason why we signed Bollinger, so perhaps he gets a shot next week. Why not? This team's back is against the wall, and it can't hurt to try something different.

Check those tapes again. It was abysmal.

He threw a nice TD pass to Miles in Denver. Can't remember much more than that.
