Where you been all my life, Hos?

So, I take it you will join the peasants' movement?

And I agree re James/Carp.

And, damn, I miss that govt. cheese.
You always know how to make me smile. Even when I don't want to.

I'm not sure my level of contempt for Wade rivals yours Hos... but clearly there is a problem of leadership on this team combined with an enabling attitude of ownership and management. Wade just doesn't have it in him to be nasty, instead he relies on his eminent approachability to deliver his message. He can clearly coach a defense... IF he has one that will listen and take to heart his suggestions. The problem is these suggestions should be demands. And that's a shame, because this is a talent laden, supposedly prideful ballclub that fell on its face the past two Januarys, and now looks like it has lost its passion for the game. Alot of this is Wade and staff. Clearly. However..

My question is- where is the accountability of the players in this discussion? How can this club allow what happened vs Washington to now be the expectation of performance week in and out? NO professional team would accept this of itself. NONE.

It's time for a players only meeting. And either they decide they are Dallas Cowboys and are in this to fight each down each game each practice... or they should ask for their outright release. And the next person who dogs it or looks like maybe they are saying one thing and meaning another when it comes to the effort they put forth on the field to correct their problems Wade needs to make an example of. And I mean anyone.

My anyone's right now:

Flozell Adams
Andre Gurode
Corey Procter
Martellus Bennett
Brady James
Zach Thomas
Anthony Henry
Greg Ellis

The only players imo that are not on the hook for this debacle of a season currently are Romo (eliminate the turnovers please), Owens (keep working it will come), Witten (please polish your in-motion resets please), Ware (change nothing) , F.Jones, MBIII (but he better stop fumbling) Patrick Crayton (enigma but since last postseason seems to bring effort at least), Columbo, RoyW (too new to dis), and MAYBE.... Jenkins because he's in a tough spot.

All others can simply play better or get the hell out.

I stopped watching ESPN about 4 years ago.

Wait...The Commanders are "panty wastes" ?

That is BS. I know you are frustrated and even pissed off. Yet they are not 1-3 over the last four. Request a mirror for the Cowboys.
Did I stutter? I don't think so. We should have waxed the floor with you and we didn't. That is unacceptable.

He threw a nice TD pass to Miles in Denver. Can't remember much more than that.

Many of his passes were behind the receiver, requiring the receiver to cut stride and make a play on the ball. We saw that yesterday. He threw a few balls deep, but most were in the 5-10 yard range, and they were often late on delivery. We also saw that yesterday.

You can get away with some of those things during the preseason going against camp fodder (sometimes), but not in the regular season. I saw doom when I saw Johnson play in August, and I'm by no means more than an average fan. He's not fluid in his delivery, and doesn't always step into his throws (though I admit the o-line needs to give him some room). I also saw some telegraphed passes yesterday...not pretty.

In Johnson, I see basically a 40 year old vet who operates worse than a rookie.

I agree on those points, but your failure to single out the offensive coaches is noticeable and mistaken, in my opinion. Garrett and Houck deserve some heat. Everyone points to our offensive stats as proof we're doing something right. There are lies, darn lies and statistics. They are not telling the story.

Jason Garrett is lost right now and, in my opinion, is showing that he still has a lot of learning to do. One thing I don't get is when I watch a team like the Texans who start a rookie LT and an assortment of other average lineman, they are somehow able to move the ball, complete a high percentage of passes and get the ball to their best player (Andre Johnson) despite all the spooky double teams that we can't seem to overcome. Part of it is that their QB actually gets rid of the ball when his back foots hits on the third step back. Maybe Jason needs to call Gary Kubiak. Now the Texans have not done this for the majority of the year and they did beat a terrible Lions team yesterday and an average Dolphins team two weeks ago, but I don't understand how they've figured out how to deal with leaky pass protection and double teams, with less talent than we have.

Who would have thought that Tony Sparano's departure would lead to these offensive woes?
I focused my Offensive mad last week on dcfanatic's radio show. This week I limited it to Brad "Metamucil" Johnson. Trust me I am not blind to the need to continue screaming.

The Commanders have been a tough team for years now. They may not light it up on offense, but typically defensively they show up.

You didn't because you, and the rest of Cowboys nation evaluates talent further than it really is. You don't have a TEAM right now, you have players.

Can I say that the Commanders are a waste of panties? Just want to know what you think is fair and all.

Oh spare me the lecture on the Skins worthiness. It simply isn't relevant to the rant I am on. If you don't like my post don't open the thread. I could give a damn if it hurts your eyes.

Washington played well enough offensively to beat the Cowboys. Now, since I've answered your question, back to mine. "Can I say that the Commanders are a waste of panties? Just want to know what you think is fair and all."

Take some Nyquil. I am not pumping up the Commanders, nor belittling the Cowboys. As many people say, it is what it is.

I think it's odd that someone would dismiss the Commanders as competitors, to that level. They are not great but, nor horrible.

If those passes yesterday had any more air under them you could attach a gondola and give hot air balloon rides.

:laugh2:

Another Hos classic.

The problem, Oh Cranky Ogre, is that this team also displayed no gonads under Parcells too.

So, what's the constant?

The players and the GM.

And who brought the players in? The GM.

It always, after Jimmy Johnson, falls at the feet of the GM.

Don't bother to answer this question since you can't seem to answer mine, but don't you believe it's cowardly not to answer a question which is pretty much straight forward?

Good advice on the Nyquil.

I do not care to mince words. I am pissed off in this thread. No team, not even your beloved Commanders, are going to get any respect from me in this thread. Get it? Got it? Good.

I am being far more disrespectful to my own team than I am to yours. Get over it or log out.

A waste of panties... Is that a serious question ?

What does that say about the Cowboys since they lost to that "waste of panties" ?

Your question has been answered, sorry if you missed it.

I have no problem with the team assembled. I do not believe there is an owner or honest fan anywhere who wouldn't swap most of our guys for theirs straight across.

My problem is the lack of execution which goes to the coaching staff who I would like to execute. With extreme prejudice.

I never asked your opinion whether you believed it was a serious question or not. A simple yes or no answer would have done the trick.

It's not the first time that the Cowboys have lost to the Commanders and ended up having a much better year than Washington. Next question.

Can't say it, can you?
