1. Donald---if he is there he is the pick
2. Hageman--trade down and maybe get him around #25-30.

Who i think jerry wants:
1. Manziel - top 11 pick
2. Evans - poor route runner who is a one trick pony, go deep, jump and get the ball. Bigger need in the first round than WR.
3. a TE - only if Ebron is there at 16 and that won't happen
4. D line to placate the masses.

That might be the only move to make. Last year, all of the linemen we were targeting were gone. This year, it seems like we may have a broader focus as far as players go, so I expect us to be in a position to draft a player we like. My only complaint about the trade down last year is that I don't think we got good enough value for the trade.

I hope Evans is there at 16. He is great trade bait. You may be able to get a high 3rd from the NYJets for a WR for dropping 2 spots in order.
Geno needs a target, and they have 2 3rd round picks.The Ravens are right behind us a might be targeting Evans also, I could see this happening.

I love that show! I have it DL'd, but have only gone through 4 episodes so far.
I watch TV on a very... slow... timescale.
I'm only halfway through Season Two of Game of Thrones and halfway through of Season Three of Fringe and barely beginning Breaking Bad and Homeland.
And all that's been more than a year (sometimes more than two) to get to those points.

For my money, Breaking Bad may be the best TV series ever. That's saying a lot because I loved the Sopranos. Game of Thrones may give BB a run for it's money before it's all said and done though.

Not really. His primary responsibility will be to rush the passer. He won't have to hold 2 gaps or take on double teams very often in this scheme.

I somewhat like this idea but that leaves me very worried about our DL. If we let Ware go that is another hole that needs filled. I'd rather not see another season of revolving door DL's each week.

In my dream scenario we have a 2nd rounder and two 3rd rounders. I can see us using one or two of those pics on Dline.

Safety and DL are dire, OL needs insurance knowing full well that you can't trust Free and Bern.

However in the middle of 1st round this year specifically Best Player Available regardless of position should produce a fine athlete in the quick twitch mode. Yes WR is a HOT pick right now.

Manzeil will not fall to 16...also RBs are not going high in this Draft. Not that we'd need one but TE looked can't miss before the NFL Combine but has fallen after workouts.

2012 draft is looking to be pretty bad.

Since 2010 there have been four drafts.
2012 looks to be very mediocre so far. But the rest look like winners. 3 out of 4 ain't bad at all. Statistically compared to the rest of the league it is actually very good, so I'll take it. And if somehow JJ miraculously makes a winner out of the class of 2014, you'd have 4 out of 5 good drafts. But that's right, there's a perpetual Jerry Jones circle jerk going on amongst Cowboys fans. Like winning a SB is so easy.
