I still think there is a good chance Donald makes it to us. I am concerned about Chicago, but I'm still not convinced that they won't want a bigger guy. Also, someone who loves Donald in the early 20's could jump up ahead of us and get him. Plus, the Giants just love good DL so much, that they could convince themselves to get him, but they need OL so badly that you have to think that's where they'll go.

If Dallas loves him enough, they might go up 4 or 5 spots and get him... but really, who knows?

Donald is my #1 choice for us at #16, but no way do I trade up to get him. If the Bears take him, so be it. There will be other good targets there for the taking instead in that case.

We aren't going to get a player at 16 who has zero question marks. Donald has erased a lot of the ones I had. His 10-yard split was just 3 hundredths of a second off of Clowney despite carrying 20 additional pounds. But yeah, concerned he might not be there anymore. Big key will be what Chicago does with Henry Melton.

I'd be happy with Hageman as a consolation prize in RD1 or trade back for Scott Crichton or Stephon Tuitt.

Every mock I see has Dallas taking Clinton-Dix or Pryor at safety. Yes, the Cowboys need a free safety because Church and Wilcox are strong safeties, but greater needs are up front.

Why would Chicago want Donald when they have Ratliff?:)

I guess the world really didn't end when we didn't draft Shariff Floyd last year. Many here were on the ledge ready to jump. I hope they didn't actually take a leap because there is bound to be more fireworks this year. Speaking of Floyd (who, by the way, didn't do jack squat last year), how does Donald compare to him?

This draft is so deep, there are good players into the 4th round. Except for Cooper and Warmack, the rest of the top ten in the 2013 draft class (Fischer, Joekel, Jordan, Johnson, Ansah, Mingo, Austin, Milliner) might not even be first rounders in this year's draft. Let the draft come to you, don't try to get cute or target a certain player. We have so many needs, it doesn't really matter which position we choose. BPA - stick with that strategy.

I would be alright with d-line, o-line, LB, or S in the first round as long as the guy is complete stud.

I'd rather have an elite safety than a pretty good d-lineman. You can get the pretty goods in later rounds.

I'd be stunned if the Giants didn't go OL with their first pick.

He continues to win me over. My concern is him getting blocked in the run game way too easily. He may honestly, and some wont like this, end up being a pass rush specialist on 3rd downs/ obvious pass situations.

All the combine times seem a bit fast this year. You almost have to look at everything relativley.

As for Donald...I guess it only takes one team to fall for him to keep him from getting to 16..or even 30.
This draft has a lot of good players stacked in that 10-50 range.
I'd actually be a bit surprised if Donald was not there until at least the 20s.

Ford and donald wont be picked until the end of RD1. Too many players rated higher. Starting to think a player like Mosely and Barr might be the pick listening to Jones on SAM LBer looking for an upgrade, and DL being deep in this draft. His words

Like many said Bears are the biggest threat here but if Chicago pulls the trigger than so be it. Donald has made a name for himself and non-believers believers.

Good thing about this draft, they are some pretty good quality players on the DL in this draft and Marinelli will have his fair share to examine and pick from after Donald

The only problem is if we go deeper in the draft we could start nitpicking who has short arms, who is not quick twitch enough and wonder if we have too many bodies in the DL meeting room.

You can also add in the fact we think you can find a one technique later in the draft. There are a select few that we will likely even consider. As it stands now, we have a very thin draft board half the time as it is. We knock out a lot of players due to scheme fits.

DallaS Can fill many positions of need. OT, OG, DE, DT, FS, CB, OLB Cant get a dt at 16 get something else fixed.:D

Donald
Ford
Mosley
Pryor

In that order , one of those will hopefully be there .
Don't be surprised if 2 or 3 (maybe even all 4, though doubtful) of that group are still there. Lot's of teams needing OL, QB, and WR before us, with good choices at each of those positions

I agree but hopefully with new faces inthe war room, that way of thinking is a thing inthe past, well atleast I hope it is...

There are no new faces in the War Room. McClay has been around all along. The only new face would be on offense with Linehan..

Kiffin will shuffle into the room at some point, so will Charlotte and Spaulding.

If Donald is there at 16 ..love the guy for what we need...then we will trade down and grab a 3rd TE for the red zone and the new OC #cowboyway
