You were calling out some dude who had posted a cryptic response to a thread you'd made celebrating Dez. Think it was called "This is a Thread About Dez". Dude posted something like "You probably think this thread is about you."

I took him to be making a lame play on the thread title. "You probably think this thread is about you. [It's not.] This is a thread about Dez." You took him to be taking a strange swipe at you and were repeatedly demanding an explanation, to which he wasn't responding.

I was stupid enough to try to tell you to cool it. You were on one of your classic rampages and we got into it.

If your "like" count wasn't proof enough I found out how popular are around here. Dallas Dave was almost as fierce in your defense as you.

I would have said the exact same thing in the Brady thread if I saw it. In looking now, that whole thread falls apart w/ Percy's top-10 defense post, imo. Dak has miles to go before he's an accomplished enough passer to mentioned with the likes of Brady and Rodgers. It's interesting to compare, but calling him a "Brady in the making" is silly.

Dak went toe to toe with Rodgers in the divisional playoff game last January and arguably outplayed him.

But I agree that nobody should ever be compared to Brady. He's in a class by himself.

My "like count" means nothing to me. All I care about are my buddies here. I post in a thread in the thousands that has the "like" ability disabled :)

I don't remember the thread. Was it one I made? I'm usually more defensive in my threads, or when someone goes after a close friend of mine (and yes, I have friends on this board that I communicate with outside of the board. :)). I apologize if I was an arse, Outlaw. I'm usually very mellow and mild-natured :)

Only comparing Brady (not in this thread LOL, but in others I've made) to Dak to this point in their careers and their style of play.

Brady is the GOAT and my favorite non-Cowboy QB, ever.

I still think they're similar.

personally i take #4 over #9.
furthermore, i dont think the #9 casing liner can last a big hit or even a mid-level hit.
