If he's able to stay in the pocket he'll be very effective regardless of his calf injury so the key will be to apply pressure and force him to move around. The lack of practice time could throw him off some giving the Cowboys a good chance. The only way I see the Cowboys winning this game is if Rodgers isn't sharp.

I can think of alot of ways we can win regardless of Rogers condition. Come On Man.

Yes, he will still play. But this injury will be a big factor in how he performs

I tore my calf muscle about three weeks ago skiing and I'm still not the same. Now I'm not a professional athlete by a long stretch, but from my personal experience, he is not going to be running anywhere.

Bring the blitz, I say.

I know we are terrible at blizing...but I would do it...and do it often. I would not consistently play our safeties deep in "fear" of their passing game. We have physical CBs and I would let them be physical, which will hopefully force him to hold onto the ball a tick too long. I would make him move off his spot. I would overload a side and make him move to his left and throw acrross his body. You CANNOT let him just stand there in one spot and use his arm. Make him move east and west. I suspect he will be adequate moving north and south. Make him use his legs. Any sort of awkard and/or sudden movements will affect his performance and/or availability. If it he is forced from the game...so be it. I have seen my own QB writhing on the ground in pain far too often to care about the health of another teams QB!

Do not WAIT to let him show us what HE can do. This is a single elimination tournament. We are the underdogs. We are on the road. Swing for the fences. Make him uncomfortable EARLY! Do not try to determine what percentage he is at before you decide what you are going to do.

Don't let them use "fear" as an ADDITIONAL weapon against us! We have nothing to lose!

So, the Front 4 is what will determine this game. IF they get the pressure they've been getting in the 2nd half of the last 4-5 games FROM THE BEGIINING, the 'Boys win, and win by at LEAST a TD.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Aaron Rodgers is dealing with a "slight tear" in his calf in addition to a "significant" strain.
Rodgers is fully expected to start Sunday's game against the Cowboys, but sounds like he'll be doing so at significantly less than 100 percent. "The question is whether he’ll be 95 percent or 50 percent," were the words of a "doctor familiar with the injury." Rodgers is expected to participate in team drills on Thursday, but is getting in limited practice reps this week. The good news, of course, is that Rodgers played through the injury in Week 17, but his mobility sounds like it will be highly limited against Dallas. He's also at risk of re-injury

I think you'll see Marinelli send some blitzes up the middle early to force Rogers to move laterally. We'll have a good idea early on what to expect.

Rodgers is one of the best QB's vs the blitz due to his quick release and ability to play from the pocket. In the Packers opener vs Seattle the Seahawks only blitzed Rodgers 3 times but pressured him all game long with just their 4 down linemen. Rodgers can beat the blitz for some big plays down the field so the Cowboys are going to have to get some pressure with their front four. The Cowboys number one weakness is coverage and blitzing leaves them vulnerable.

If true (I'm not convinced), it probably will affect not just his running, but planting his left foot as he is throwing.

Hopefully, the Cowboys will ignore all this and prepare for an Aaron Rodgers that is 100% healthy.

If he is not mobile it could hamper a lot of things maybe a lot of max protect or quick throws underneath.
