Adam, you'd be hard-pressed to find any football fans who know him as "Adam Jones" above "Pacman Jones". Articles using his real name aren't the same as what he's called on TV, what the fans know him as, and most importantly, what he refers to himself as and what he prefers to go by.

The biggest reason "Adam Jones" has emerged is because of his criminal past as "Pacman Jones". You even personally alluded to this a bit in one of your posts, I believe.

But thanks for the links. I didn't know he was referred to as "Adam Jones" in articles that often.

You're completely wrong.

I implied nothing about race. I assume there's whites, blacks, yellows, browns, and greens on this board, and I have no reason to think that it's only non-blacks who have started calling Pacman "Adam".

It has to do with behavior, not race. Where I grew up, there were tons of Asian, Mexican, or white kids who acted "ghetto". It wasn't just the black kids.

But you made it perfectly clear what race you equate to ebonics and being a thug. No need for you to own up, you already did (albeit unintentionally).
