There have been years that they won game 1 against a bad team but it was an ugly win that predicted an ugly season

The specifics of this loss projects for a good season.

Winning in the NFL is not about 1 game.

In college 1 loss can be the end of championship aspirations but not in the NFL.

Tampa with many older players and all starters returning might have been at their peak in game 1 due to a full offseason of rest.

The Cowboys with a complete remake on defense might have been at their worst for the season.

I think we should have won but it’s also thought to pick Tom Brady off twice in a game. Highly unlucky that happens twice in a row.

That 1 pick Dak had was not his fault because it hit CeeDee on the hands. But it was in triple coverage.

I do believe next time we play them. And I believe we will. We will win.

That was the best we could have hoped for and still lost. Not that great of a sign moving forward IMHO. As our "stars" get suspended and go on IR it will only get worse.

It will take more than this one game to convince me that he has changed his habits of disappearing for entire games when he is most needed.

What a game! Almost not fair playing Brady. Cowboys showed some unbelievable things tonight.

Dak and Kellen Moore showed everyone how incredible they are tonight.

Defense came to play and are much improved. Love what I was seeing tonight.

Zeke will have his nights, but tonight was not the night to feature him. Line did well considering.

Game plan could not have been more on the money.

Zuerline blew it, but someone had to be rusty and it was him. Special teams actually was the difference in this game.

Yeah and this defense is just getting started. They need time and having Hooker and Gallimore will be a big help. The X factor could be Joseph. If he's legit it's huge.

Toe to toe with the world champs . I thought it was a great game. If we meet again I believe we beat them

They did not lose a starter from last years Superbowl team We replaced tons of players and almost beat them . Was a great 1st game even though we lost

Some folks are having a hard time letting go of 2019 when Cooper fought through a myriad of injuries and had to shut it down early in a couple of games because of the pain. Nobody has to like it, hell I don't like it.. but I understand.. I know what it's like to try and play through injuries to your wheels.. It just plain sucks even if it's just against old guys in your flag league.. I can't imagine doing it against the absolute best in the world.

I'm fine conceding that Tampa is the better team at this point.. They have the better defensive front and really that was the difference in the game. The QBs were about equal, the receivers where about equal.. the offensive lines were about equal and the backs were about equal.. The difference was they could block our front and we could not block theirs. Their QB had all day to throw most of the night while our QB was taking a beating and having to run for his life more than we would have liked coming off that injury. The hope is that getting Gallimore and Hill back bolsters our front line on the D and getting Zack back gives us a stronger push in the middle on offense. Oh and I almost forgot.. their special teams crushed ours.. Their punter pinned us inside the 10 yard line like 5 times. And their kicker had no misses. Plus our coverage teams gave up at least two 30+ yard returns as I recall. They didn't have that problem.

Some seriously doubted before the game the Cowboys had any chance of keeping the game close. After the game, all ecstatic, suddenly full believers and calling the coaches legit.

Hey I had absolutely no clue what kind of team we were before this game. The offense didn't worry me, but the D sure did. Actually they still do, but I can see them getting it together as they play.

Special teams ultimately was the difference. Our bad ST and their great ST.

D was an even bigger factor. We did not stop them.
