Yep a few on here said they were even upgrades day 1. Funny how the homers are quiet right now

The situation at WR was utterly predictable. If one was just honest with themselves and not sitting at the computer wagging their foam Cowboys #1 finger, they would have recognized that it was likely the starting WRs for the Bucs game were going to be Lamb and then just a bunch of JAGs. But people convinced themselves that guys like Houston and Fehoko and Tolbert would be more than enough to fill the voids left by WIlson and Gallup. Counting on Tolbert to be an immediate impact was crazy. I like him but it didn't take a rocket scientist to see that he was raw and clearly needed time to find his footing in the NFL.

It's mindnumbing that people keep falling for this crap year after year, LOL.

Tolbert reminds me of Patrick Crayton......average to good most days but reality just a good possession WR at best
Dontario Drummond reminded me of Patrick Crayton when I watched his Ole Miss highlights. Tough. Hard to tackle. Slot WR type. PR'er. Not fast but makes plays.

Nahhhhh.....we won't miss Ced.....we don't need Beasley. Holy S....relying on Fohoko and Brown in a huge statement game, because Mr. Alligator Arms...aka, the camp disappointment may be out....what a joke this organization is. I almost incorrectly said "has become".....pfffftt.

Sam Williams was my favorite pick by far. I expect him to have a highly successful career once he gets acclimated. Tolbert seemed like he had a good start but tailed off with the passage of time. Fehoko appeared to improve more than most of us expected, I think. I was quite pleased by the performances DaRon Bland turned in during the preseason games. He'll be an especially steady defender, once he gets fully developed. I was surprised to be him do as well as he did for a rookie.

Not a live snap played, nor has the inactive list been made, yet people are already calling guys busts.

My hunch is that Fehoko is ahead of him right now.

You guys are going to like Fehoko sooner or later.

This is also another signal that maybe Gallup might play.

Fehoko to this point is a big fast in a straight line guy without much wiggle. In the NFL it doesn't matter how fast you are if you aint got no wiggle you can be stopped very easily. I don't know what he can do to get more wiggle but that's what's missing from his game right now.

It’s one thing to do the jump ball win at Stanford want to see Fehoko do it in the NFL . Get open do damage . Washington State not on the Cowboys schedule .

Tolbert was my least favorite draft pick, NGL.

Wanted Leo Chenal or Zach Tom with our third pick.

Edit: Ridgeway was my #1 least favorite pick.
I think Tolberts ceiling is basically what we got from Wilson last year. Not bad but not anything to thump chests about either

I think he's a good deal faster than Crayton.. I think people mistake smoothness for slowness. But if he does turn into Patrick Crayton that would be just fine. Crayton was a solid #3 receiver and part time return man for 7-8 years.

Wasn't a fan of this draft pick. Too slow and not explosive.

As to Sam Williams he bull rushed the tackle in front of him who might have outweighed him by 45 pounds right into the QB’s grill . Fred Dean hello

It should be no surprise that Tolbert would take time. I don't think anyone has shut the book on him as he clearly has talent but was raw.

But the homers got way ahead of themselves here with guys like Tolbert and Williams when people pointed out we had holes at DE and WR. Oh no, they cried, Tolbert and Williams will fill those voids.

They never learn.
Probably a direct causation between chest thumping and lack of brain activity.

We about to find out what Mr. Fehoko can do Sunday night.....we need a WR to step up

:hammer:quickness is harder to stop because their route tree is more diverse. A go or post is easy money for a decent CB. Has anyone seen Simi run a decent route other than a go or post?
