11-5 and missing the playoffs would force JJ to go on a mission to change the entire playoff system. It might even distract him enough to resign his current positions. LOL... If we go 11-5, we are not missing the playoffs. It's only happened twice in 40 something years.

Which means what exactly at the end of the day? Just a 5th season in a row of no playoffs. Nothing was really gained.

You start 6-1 and miss the playoffs, no progress was gained. Especially when you control your own destiny with 3 games left to win the East.

Every fan's dream should be seeing their team face adversity with their backs against the wall and make a run to the Super Bowl....
then win... then dominate for years to come...... but it should start with an "us against the world" feeling.

I understand that every armchair QB or GM needs to vent in some fashion... and I guess this forum has provided therapy for many of you...
I enjoy many posts providing opinions on re-signing players, game film breakdowns and personnel moves... but all of these "it's over" type
threads makes it appear that the board is full of pre-teens... and we're better than that, people.

Do you quit watching the games when we are losing in the second half? 4th quarter? last 2 minutes? If not, then why quit with a 9-4 record
and a game coming up that could put us back in the playoff picture?

I guess all the negativity comes from people want to set themselves up for failure, and not success.

If fail, people will feel good, because they say they didn't expect it. As well as the "I told you so" people.
If they tell themselves they think we can win, but don't, then they can't handle not winning, I guess. If that makes sense.

I think we can win out, and I expect us to at least 2 of 3. If that doesn't get us in the playoffs, it's not our fault other teams play to win also. It is their fault for not winning another game, but can't do anything about that now. It happened, the other teams get paid too win also.

Well I guess I'll just take my ball and go home since John Doe Media said the Dallas Cowboys season is over. That same John Doe Media that said the Cowboys would finish last in the NFC East this year. That same John Doe Media that said my I mean OUR Dallas Cowboys would be one of the worst teams in the NFC and go 3 -13 this year. Fact is nobody thought out favorite team would be 9-4 right now but they are! John Doe Media doesn't know anything can't wait untill the Boys win this Sunday and prove John Doe Media wrong one more time this year!

It makes perfect sense. That kind of fan can't lose. If we win. They're happy. If we lose they get to say "told ya so" "I was right". And that makes them happy. Even happier it would seem.
