According to you, what is our most glaring need?

OT. I have injury concerns regarding both our tackles.

As do I. But the same holds true for me for corner. I wouldn't be upset if we went after a corner in the 1st round. Who knows? We'll probably go after a safety. It's really a tough call. I'd love for some of the draft guru's to chime in, such as silverbear et cetera.

Let me paraphrase what I was trying to say. I think OT is the most glaring need, imo but i'm not necessarily saying they have to take a tackle with that 1st pick. If there is a tackle with good value at the 27th pick then by all means but if there isn't one then pick a S, CB, DE, G, ILB or whatever needs we have to address with a good value for the spot or trade down a few spots if we can find any takers.

I agree with this. I also don't want to forget about DT. So I'm almost of the BPA mindset. We do have needs, I just don't think they're "glaring". So the title is sort of a misnomer.

DT? Ratliff is one of the best DT's in the NFL. He likes playing DT and has said he doesn't want to change positions.

What part of this are you guys not getting?

DT is about 8 or 9 on my priority list.

We need to seriously look at OL ,MLB,FS this draft. If a WR/KR is available that'd be nice to.

I genuinely don't get the mock drafts that have us picking DT's in the 1-3 rounds.

Ask yourself this.

What position would have gotten Dallas past Minnesota in the play-off game.

Offensive line. Offensive tackle.

1. KR/PR. Especially KO returns. Having one guy dedicated to that task and better Offensive field position adds 40 points next year automatically.

2. Kicker. We passed on trying some FGs and missed a scad more. Fix this. Hate the sawed off midgets, but we need the points.

3. OL depth. Particularly OG. I think Kosier needs to be our top backup at OG by year's end because a 1st round pick has taken the job.

Fix those 3 things and I will take my chances with this team against any team.

And if Ratliff gets hurt who do we have? It's a genuine concern.

For the 5th year in a row - OL!

If Ratliff got hurt at this stage I would look to rotate Junior Siavii and Igor Olshansky

Offensive tackle should be the #1 need by FAR. We are old and slow at the position (not including Free).

I think the team's most glaring need right now is field goal kicker, something I do not want to look for in the draft.

We need to take a couple of young veterans to camp and let them kick it out. I'd like Nick Folk to be one of them, but it seems the team doesn't feel the same way.

Another glaring need is kickoff returner, something we can address during the draft, but not likely requiring a premium selection.

1. Offensive Tackle

If we dont get some now it is going to bite us very hard in the near future.

2. Safety - We cant have a guy backed up 30 yards downfield like Hamlin who makes no plays

3. KR/PR - Its time to upgrade this once and for all.

O-Line depth.
Dynamic ST return guy
FS

I think FS and a dynamic Return guy are the only ones who would have a legit chance to start sometime this year.

The question was asked.

I will give my answer.

Alot won't like it.

Glaring need?
A Real Head Coach. Wade is a DC.

Unfortunately. People are not realizing that we get beat down in the most important games. No biggie for some. Its a big deal to me.

If we get lucky enough to host our own SB, my concern, my fear is an embarrassing beatdown because we don't have a real head coach.

BPA in any order despite my list of need priority.

O-Line Depth: LT, C, G (Free is a RT in my book.)
Kicker: (-6 Points/Game Missing)
ST's Return Ace: (Praying Ogletree becomes that guy.)
CB Depth: (I'd like to get one in the first 4 rounds.)
NT Depth: (Who is behind Rat that can start and give the same performance?) Just for fun, who thinks Bigg could be a mean nasty Nose Guard? I look in that dude's eyes and something tells me he could play the position well for 1st and 2nd down run support. Que the Madden crowd, lol...
