Dak trolls have a new angle now . Lol

They are so worried Parsons and this defense could be enough to carry Cowboys to a Super Bowl.

As long as the defense plays like a top 5 defense in the playoffs, i have no issue with this.

I just don't want to see a disappearing act in the playoffs where we can't stop the run.

Let the defense of Dak loyalists begin even in the face of common sense. While many are saying Dallas has a Super Bowl defense while also complaining about Rush minimizing the offense, what will be the excuse if the $40M/year "Top 10" QB fails to elevate the team deep into the playoffs upon his return?

Dak will be plenty healthy the final 3 months of the season. There won't be any excuses to not make the playoffs with Cooper handing the team back at either 5-1 or 4-2.

Every year the team doesn't win with him under center, the pressure and expectations build......... and so does the criticism.
True this. Dak will get to step behind the center of a very competitive team. All he has to do is protect the ball and keep moving the chains and score when opportunity knocks. He has the tools to win if he'll just trust the system. No need to watch Elway/Marino film.

We will have to wait and see how this plays out. No doubt we look like we finally have the defense . Which won’t be able to be used as an excuse anymore assuming it stays at this level.

Hopefully Prescott can elevate this 26th ranked offense cause I’m not sure it’s currently sustainable in the playoffs .

But most of us are more in the middle on Prescott , don’t believe he’s necessarily Top 10. Probably closer to Top 15. And that he’s over paid at 40 million. It’s not our fault our owner over paid and has tried to sell and hype him as such.

How does that change your narrative?

And let’s hope Moore continues a similar scheme when Prescott returns . While we definitely need more offensive production , we no longer need our QB and offense to carry the team.

They're hoping the defense can give Dakko his 1st SB appearance......unfortunately in the Playoffs, you have to pass at some point hence our demise once again in the off-season in the past and in our future.
See they don't care about the playoffs or an SB win they want Dakko to get that extension...... it's pretty much their biggest fear at this point.
Now if Rush wins in Philly well things might change really fast.........

That's idiotic. Football is a team game. Team failures aren't an indictment of any one player. However, if the rest of the team plays great and one player ruins it, then it's on that player. Rarely does that happen, though.

This essentially says that if a running back fumbles the game away, the quarterback is to blame. If a receiver drops a TD, it's on the quarterback. If a kicker misses a field goal, how dare the quarterback cause that? If a defense crumples like paper, well, the quarterback should have overcome that.

It's about as stupid as some of the blame game on here. Maybe even more so.
You're to smart for this thread, little @PAPPYDOG won't get it.

At the end of it, the claim will be that the defense should have shutout teams and it isn't Daks fault. Or better yet, the defense needs to shutout teams and score the points - Dak can't be expected to do everything.

How bout something? Like winning a playoff game, reading a defense or hitting a receiver in stride more than 2-3 times per game.

Assuming injuries aren’t a factor and the defense continues to play well, he’s somewhat right.

But we’re a long way to go before proving that anything we see right now is legit.

We’ve had 6+ years to see what Dak can do. Let’s give Rush a shot. We ALL know we’re going nowhere with Dak. Rush isn’t our long term answer. Draft a QB next year and every year somewhere in the draft. The Jones’ are clueless.

Naw, we don't place such "crazy" expectations on Dak. He is perfect.
I honestly believe lots of Dak backers on this board have something totally unrelated to winning a SB in their support of him. There’s no way anyone with a set of eyes can watch him play and say…he’s the one.
