The thing is he ain't who they think he is. Lost 2 nationwide broadcast passing competitions (last place), we all know he can't hit a moving target in stride, we all know he panics even when he's healthy and now he is NOT healthy - that broken hand will dog him the rest of the year. Go with Rush until he starts losing games because right now I'm willing to bet Cooper Rush can do ANYthing that Kellen Moore asks him to do including throw the long ball. Up to now it's all been strategy to win. And we've won.

To each their own. I don't listen to any of these ones trying to justify their jobs by throwing out clickbait because I don't want to contribute to their existence. I guess I'm just not entertained by it, but they still do exist, so some of you certainly are.
Well....Okay.
I guess you just have much more serious outlook at life than I do.:espn:

One of the more underrated problems around this organization is Super Bowl talk (by anyone) when they haven’t been to a Conference final in decades.

They don’t need to make the SB this year for it to be considered progress.

Figure out how to contend consistently and the day will come.

Not thinking about the Super Bowl in preparation for the first playoff game is probably a decent place to start. That’s on the head coach to prevent, as Jerry continues to yap away. Good luck.

I like Acho, but his take on Dak being an indictment if the we don't make the Super Bowl is absolutely comical. Sometimes talking smart actually makes hearing what you say seem dumb. Period!

How many other QB's are supposed to lead their team to a Super Bowl with a broken throwing hand? Just curious. How many times in the history of the NFL has that happened? 5? 10? Ever? I am not the Dak cheerleader, but some of this **** gets ridiculous.

Dak will be plenty healthy the final 3 months of the season. There won't be any excuses to not make the playoffs with Cooper handing the team back at either 5-1 or 4-2.

Every year the team doesn't win with him under center, the pressure and expectations build......... and so does the criticism.

That's idiotic. Football is a team game. Team failures aren't an indictment of any one player. However, if the rest of the team plays great and one player ruins it, then it's on that player. Rarely does that happen, though.

This essentially says that if a running back fumbles the game away, the quarterback is to blame. If a receiver drops a TD, it's on the quarterback. If a kicker misses a field goal, how dare the quarterback cause that? If a defense crumples like paper, well, the quarterback should have overcome that.

It's about as stupid as some of the blame game on here. Maybe even more so.
Football IS a team game, but what happens if Dak comes back and things just start to look bad again? He starts audibling out of all the runs? Do you believe Dak, right now, is ever sitting back and throwing only 16 passes in a game even if it's the right thing to do?

Football IS a team game, but when you play the most important position on the team and you have control to change the plays at the line, then you have the power to derail things.

He was plenty healthy the last couple months of last season but people still use the sore leg excuse for him.

The hand excuse will be the excuse for this seasons failures.

No..... it's not.

i understand. Acho has to stay informed about the actions of all 32 teams. He probably isn't going to be the most knowledgeable analyst when it comes to the Cowboys. I also suspect that he misinterprets statistical data.

However, this issue didn't suddenly surface in 2016. This has been going on since Dak was a two year old. That's how old he was when JimmyJohnson left the team.
He lives a few minutes from the stadium, he is in tune with the team more than a lot of guys.

But until about 5 games ago, he was the biggest anti Cowboys analyst for years. He used to be Anti Dallas to Marcellus Wiley’s Pro-Cowboys.

I would put Acho and Dan Orlovsky as the biggest anti Dallas analyst. Outside of the obvious Stephen A

I'd at least wait until he's played more than 3/4 of a game before blaming him for us not winning a super bowl.
