How many other QB's are supposed to lead their team to a Super Bowl with a broken throwing hand? Just curious. How many times in the history of the NFL has that happened? 5? 10? Ever? I am not the Dak cheerleader, but some of this **** gets ridiculous.

Who is hollering for Dak to play with a broken hand?
I am not. Not anyone here that I know of.

Instead, rude chap, we are begging Dak to stay the haides away and let the grownups play.
Go rehab your broken hand, Dak. Let our progress continue.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. And I don't mean his hand I mean the team!

Unfair to you because? Must lower the standards for Dak! This sounds familiar.

I mean besides his rookie year he's always fell below expectations lowering the standards seems like the right perspective with him.

So random dude on tv knows all. Knows when Dak (who I never really liked) will be fully healed. People says dumb stuff on tv and the web all the time. So Dak comes back, say week 10 and is allegedly healthy, the Super Bowl Championship all comes down to him and his repaired throwing hand. You know that is stupid, right?
Bro this the NFL if yoir not ready to compete at a high level then DONT COME BACK TIL YOU ARE. Otherwise he had better be ready to take all criticism if they are 1 and done again. The excuses hVe got to stop at some point. It's not always the Jonses. These players have to play and coaches have to coach. Dude NEVER said when Dak is coming back. He said WHEN HE DOES it's SB or nothing. Or will you be content with wasting this level of Defense we normally don't get around here?. Of course it doesn't just come down to him. But if he's that much h better than Rush then it will show right?!. If the D keeps this type of play up then all we need is our 40 mil a year QB to do his job. consistently

With all the comments to read........where was this during the TRomo years? I've read HOF talk and some more, but Dak is currently on par with the beloved one.

I guess what I took a long time to say is if Moore can coach up Rush to beat the defending Champions and the defending AFC champions during this 4 game win streak but all of a sudden loses his playcalling ability goes to crap then we have a new issue. What's going on with Moore and Dak? How can Moore get the best out of Rush but then lose his touch with Dak. Then we got to look at is this a QB coach relationship issue? Is this the coaches don't understand or know Dak's skill set? Or is Dak not any good or not coachable. I have a hard time seeing the coaches squeeze the absolute best out of Rush but then drop the ball with Dak.

I also agree with you if one person doesn't do their job, ala a missed kick to tie or a dropped TD pass then the QB shouldn't be blamed for the loss. That's why I referenced the Romo examples.

But my main point was it is a team game but I'm concerned with how Rush seemed to get coached up and there wasn't any massive mistakes by the coaches during this win streak. So if the coaches start to suck when Dak comes back and we start losing then I question the relationship with Dak and the coaches. I don't think it's black and white of Dak sucks or Dak is awesome. Sometimes I wonder if the coaches have a false sense of security that Dak can win games on his own. I don't know, we'll see. It'll be interesting and fun to watch, more fun when we win

The main reason we beat the defending champs, though, was our defense, so we have to keep that in mind. A TD fumble return and block punt accounted for 10 of our 23 points. We also rushed for almost 180 yards. Rush had little that he had to do in that game, which is a good thing since two drops helped kill drives.

I don't necessarily disagree with what you are saying. I just mainly want to point out that we have to have perspective and keep things in context. For example, I think it would be unfair of us as fans to not give Rush any credit for this streak because of the defensive play, etc. He's been involved in fourth-quarter game-winning drives in two or three of them. There are just so many things to look at in evaluating wins and losses. Blocking, for instance, can go a long way to determining the success of the offense. One reason we stalled against the Rams was because of big sacks (which also were reasons they stalled against us) so when we look at Rush's 10-for-16 performance we have to factor that in as well as the drops. We have to do that with Dak as well when he comes back. When we win, it's also easy to forget plays like the two interceptions Rush threw against Washington that got erased by penalties. We'd view the success he's having differently if both of those plays had stood.

It will definitely be interesting to evaluate the difference in play when Dak returns, but what most fans will fail to look at is all of the reasons for the differences, especially when it comes to winning and losing. We tend to by a bit myopic when it comes to quarterbacks.

Just another loudmouth idiot looking for Twitter followers. We have a top 10 defense and the 27th ranked offense. Go count up the number of teams that won a Super Bowl with an offense ranked that low.

How is anything an indictment of the QB who’s injured and has played in only 1 game?

Not really, Rodger has not won anything in over 10 years.

but the team has a ton of talent and needs to execute.

This is so stupid. Okay let me follow his logic. Josh Allen (who is better than Dak) didn’t make the SB last year with a top 5 defense. That is a total indictment on Josh Allen
