I'd put The Burbs over Joe.Forrest Gump IMBD rating 8.8
The Green Mile rating 8.5
Joe Vs. the Volcano 5.8
Yeah, we know which roles were best.
I'd put James Whale in Gods and Monsters over King Lear.
I'd put The Burbs over Joe.
Bruce Dern was great in it.You know...
I agree.
Really enjoyed "The Burbs".
Monster role. Ian is a legend in more than one way...I'd put James Whale in Gods and Monsters over King Lear.
One of my all-time faves...I'd put The Burbs over Joe.
One of my all-time faves...
I mean... they cast Brother Theodore!
Just saw Bruce Dern the other day. He was here in El Paso for a film at the Plaza Festival.
What a warm soul! Great human.
Long Hair... Dang bro! You just brought me back! And one of the great movie villains in "The Cowboys".
No way! He killed The Duke!!!One of my all-time faves...

The Quiet Man is about as much as he stretched things.I'd love to put up 3 John Wayne films as being "Role" films... But the fact is John Wayne played the same role in every film and his life was a "role".
He'll always be Rooster Cogburn to me, but his role in McLintock! was definitely different from most of his other roles. Sure, he was still a cocky badass, but his character didn't take himself so seriously.I'd love to put up 3 John Wayne films as being "Role" films... But the fact is John Wayne played the same role in every film and his life was a "role".
