Well this sucks.

Only back I want now is AD. Getting one of the top rookies just continues to take away from the Dline picks.

Bill Polien was saying the same thing the other night. I think when only 3 teams (Jax, Oak, Philly) reach out to Murray who is the top RB in FA but 27, that says a lot about the value of RB's.

Jerry: You BETTER be right, Stephen.

There are 10 or 15 good RB's in the league. I won't get that Randle junk out of here, he ran thru the same holes Murray did and turned a lot of them in to big plays.

Oh yeah? Where did that Justin Forsett kid come out from? 1,266 yds for the 1st time starter and help push his team in the playoffs

well we hear jones is anxious so that's out there. we heard AD wanted to be a CB during the season, so that's out there. 90% of the FAs signed this year before it even started and this little fact has yet to quell conversation about it.

so while not designed to be fair, it's still an honest question. what other teams are RUMORED to want ADs services should he be available? 95% of the teams out there didn't wanna pay murray $8 mil a year til the eagles fessed up for it. how many will pay more, or as much, for AD?

IMO AD is choosing between Dallas, Arizona and Minn

He might no start the season but, he would be available by game 5 or 6... Definitely worth the risk.

We will draft a RB and see if, Williams, or Randle can get it done. We won't sign anyone else.

Are you old enough to remember when Troy Hambrick was Emmitt's backup??? He had a year like Randle... Dallas realized Emmitt was old and done
so they decided to go with Hambrick as the workhorse... he stunk it up and was soon gone forever.

This started with you saying that Murray was 'just anybody'... then you admitted he was 'good'... I merely helped you realize that he wasn't 'just anybody' but
rather one of the top 10-15 RBs in the league..... who just happened to lead the league in rushing by a mile.

You're welcome...:)

Yeah, that study kind of kills the idea of trading for Peterson but I believe there should be special rules for special players.

I'm sure there are studies to say a RB fresh off an ACL injury is going to see a massive dip in production. AP follows that up with a 2k season.

Dallas is going to be effective running the ball regardless of who is back there. I am glad they are finally showing some restraint and not over paying a guy like Murray.

I would like to see them sign a DL or LB though.

This sure makes me think that there is a shift in power behind the scenes.

My gut says Will McClay has targeted a running back in the second or third round that they have plans for.

I think he's made up his mind.

And it's definitely not Minnesota.

Not only did he meet with the coach and GM at his home for 4 hours - with nothing good to report - but he then flew to New York on his own dime to meet with ownership - with nothing good to report.

Man I hope this does not happen. I was ok with Murray walking for the money, but going to Philly? If he does this, he instantly becomes enemy #1.

Just saw Shefter on ESPN. "The Eagles have been very serious about courting, pursuing, and signing DeMarco." Really? Did I not just read that Murray contacted the Eagles yesterday? He contacted them.

So do you think this may blow up in Murray's face? I'm not sure he's ever been in a game of bluff with Jarrah the ringleader. I think you've overplayed your hand DeMarco. Get your cardio way up.
