Name which month and I can answer quite easily.Wonder how he’d do with Daboll.

I think a different culture would fix some of those late season issues he seems to have especially with a football mind like Daboll.Name which month and I can answer quite easily.
Basically. There will be at least 2-4 teams willing to make Prescott the highest paid player in the league.
Are there 2-4 QBs Jerry can just go get to replace him without severe dropoff? No.
It’s not difficult to calculate who has the leverage here.
So, he's going to create basically the biggest jump in QB salary in history?LOL ...couple of reasons
***free agent
*** legit top 10 starter at the most important and expensive position in football.
If everything you listed happens to Dak this season he’ll still be signed for over $50 million AAV with some team. It’s not like teams think the Cowboys have worked hard this off season to surround Dak with a stronger team. The guy is going to be paid a lot of money to play quarterback for an NFL team beyond 2024. Most likely the Dallas Cowboys. What if he things go poorly & he doesn't even keep the stats rolling?
What if he were to get benched at some point?
What if he gets injured?
Are they really lining up to pay that kind of money to a QB who would be entering his 10th season when he stepped on the field for them while never even getting team to a conference championship?
How does Lance turning out to be a great quarterback make Dak worth any less to another team? And if Lance turns out to be the starter over Dak, he’s a free agent after this season, too. He’ll want even more than Dak signs for.If Trey Lance can have a "high performance" preseason, Dak's leverage will be gone. All Dak can do to regain that leverage is win a Lombardi trophy.
Agreed. The WCO is all about timing. Lance gets that down, and its his team to lose in 2025.If Trey Lance can have a "high performance" preseason, Dak's leverage will be gone. All Dak can do to regain that leverage is win a Lombardi trophy.
The irony of that is they’ve been complaining about timing on throws lol.Agreed. The WCO is all about timing. Lance gets that down, and its his team to lose in 2025.
Are you that sure? Not sure another team gives him 60m a year. If they do let him walk.
Panthers if what's his name doesn't workoutI sure wish one of them would make Dak & his agent aware of this so that Dak would ask to be traded to said team.
Also, I'm curious which teams you think have the interest and\or the circumstances to sign him to a contract of that magnitude.
Wow. Just wow. What if he things go poorly & he doesn't even keep the stats rolling?

Wait. What? And Herbert sucked?Yeah interested to see how that works….probably the best weapons Moore has had to play with his whole career.

I don’t understand how anyone can defend Jerry or the Jones family after watching them handle the Prescott contract situation. Amateur doesn’t quite cut it here. This is a master class on how not to be a GM.Is it possible for the Cowboys to have handled the 'Dak Prescott contract situation' any worse than they have the last 5 years???
Nothing bad happens when a player develops and plays well.I actually hope Lance looks great in the preseason. Dak need to be pushed. If things don't work out for Dak then we can go ahead and lean on Lance and see what happens.
