Zeke is going to shut a bunch of doubters up this season
Well, he may but there is a good chance that in 2022, he's gone.

lol...most players in the league is overpaid.
Only way Zeke is gone in 2022 is if he has a career ending injury!Well, he may but there is a good chance that in 2022, he's gone.
I don't care about the splits....Zeke is my starter...use Pollard as a change of pace to keep the defense on their feet and honest. However many snaps that results in then i'm cool with it.
Go read the post I replied too...i'm not answering no more questions that are right there in your face.
Oh. But that once again contradicts your previous point that you want guys to get playing time based on skill and not salary...yet you want him to have 1300 yards and get reps over Pollard because of what he's paid? It just makes no sense but its not suppose to because you're trolling. Atleast I hope you are.
Ah so you do think Pollard deserves more? Glad to hear it. I would go with 60/40 and see how that goes. Have concerns over Pollard ability to carry more of the load.
As far as Pollard being a better overall RB, I havent hear anyone say that. I do think that most things Pollard does better than Zeke. I would just want to see how he handles more of a load.

Some more than others. And certainly its not a compliment. And neither is saying that the backup is a more dynamic back than you are.
Atlanta ran wide 9 alignments with Quinn as Head Coach.I recently saw a very interesting video on Youtube regarding how the 49ers moved away from trying to replicate the Legion of Boom defense and moved to the Wide Nine scheme. He went over the pros and cons of it and why SF was a beast using it. I know we do not have the SF defense But looking at our personal could this be effective ?
This video caught my attention for a variety of reasons - Key Takes from the video
LOB Defense
1- It stated first and foremost in the LOB defense the single high safety was one of the key ingredients among others
2- It worked for Seattle because of the talent using the scheme ! not the scheme itself which is why SF struggled using it the level of talent was not the same at the key positions !
Wide Nine Scheme - Video went into far more detail this is just quick takeaways
1- Eliminates the outside runs for the most part and funnels runs back into the teeth of the defense but LINEBACKERS must be able to read , react, and fill gaps quickly to either side and center of the DT's- Biggest Weakness if the skill at linebacker is not there, playaction and running inside can kill this scheme if the linebackers communication and read and react timing is slow.
Why i find this interesting We have a lot of talent at linebacker between Parson's , Jalen , LVE and Cox this should be a great rotation. Communication is the most important part between the linebackers in this scheme due to the fact the linebackers need to react fast to the run to plug gaps or drop back into coverage on playaction ( parsons and Cox can cover which is great ). The speed is there and from the early onset seems like Parsons is awesome at communication. With Dlaw and Gregory lining up wider gives them more room rushing and both play the run well - Biggest question can our DT's hold up in the middle to allow the Linebackers to eat ? I know we do not have the talent on the d-line like SF but could this work for us ?
2- Less stress on the safety position and gives more flexibility to drop 2 deep or place Donavan Wilson in the box to wreak havoc i think this could fit us better then trying to recreate the LOB since we do not have that all pro safety yet
3- I think we have the talent at corner to pull this off
Like every scheme this has its strengths and weaknesses. I am no expert at breaking down film or schemes seems like the guy in the video knew what he was talking about, I guess what scares me a little is after watching this video it seemed to me the key to this D is the linebacking core and their ability to read, react, and communicate i know many are down on Jalen and LVE but with the 2 new additions this could work. Yes D-line is super important also but gregory and tank might thrive here.
IF @Reality would allow me to post the link to the Youtube Video since i do not believe forum rules allow that - i will provide a link so you can see the video i just found it very interesting and just wondered what you all thought if a package utilizing the wide nine could work?
And yes i realize we do not have the San Fran Defense![]()
I figured Pollard has been getting about 20% 80/20 of the carries, I said give him about 10% more of the carries 70/30, now if you talking about adding throwing him throwing to him , that's different, I may say 65/35
But if you're bringing him in on passing down, he better be able to protect like Zeke as well.
Glad to see you are coming around. Personally I would give pollard 80% of the passing downs.
Zeke has been responsible for more Cowboy wins than Ramsey could have been responsible for. When the offense ran through Zeke, the Cowboys were winning games and playing better football. With the exception of a Deion , there has not been a CB worth a top five pick, especially since the rules have changed that favors the pass game and WRs.Just as a reference, the Niners in 2019 were #2 in the NFL in rushing with 144 per game. Ahead of the Cowboys. And they didnt need to use a top 4 pick on RB to get that.
I know you are a big Zeke fan.![]()
being more Dynamic , doesn't mean better. Pollards more dynamic than Henry, but he isn't better. we also don't know what happens if Pollard gets more and teams prepare for him, if he can continue to be dynamic.
lol, and watch your qb get smacked around![]()

Well, I could easly say the same about Zeke shutting everybody up but the reality is that nobody knows. But in terms of salary, I was inaccurate in stating 2022. It's actually 2023 that the window for Zeke to be gone is in play.

Funny you bring up Henry. Since pollard was drafted he is tied with Henry for #1 in the NFL in YAC.
Zeke is more durable and more of a power back. Pollard is better at everything else.

Actually Pollard has dramatically improved in that area.
Nope. Do you think Dak is overpaid is a compliment? No. Doesn't matter though.Do you think saying that Zeke is overpaid is a compliment?
