Adoree Jackson just got released

Here’s what PFF says about him. They have him rated as the 6th available free agent as of today.
6. CB ADOREE' JACKSON
A former first-round pick, Adoree Jackson has elite coverage numbers. He ranks just behind the trio of Jaire Alexander, Richard Sherman and Stephon Gilmore among corners when lined up outside in PFF coverage grade since 2018, and was an unexpected cut by the Titans. He missed almost the entirety of the 2020 season, but if he checks out medically is an outstanding option at the position.

Depending on cost, he might be a solid pickup. Dallas really liked him in that draft - as in he was a main target - and he’s still young which Dallas looks for in FA.

We don’t know if Quinn likes him or not. That would be important to Dallas’ decision.

Unlikely but possible.

I think he’s a better signing than Jourdan Lewis, and the Cowboys are paying him $5.5 million a year. I would have thrown in a few million more to sign Jackson.

Stephen Jones doesnt care about fans thoughts,i never hate Jerry but i hate this guy.i hope Charlotte jones takes over once Jerry goes.
Don’t worry, the fuzzy headed , booger-eating grandson will save the team. Just give him time to grow up a little and it will be Spaulding to the rescue.

I haven't mentioned pff 1 time. You did though. Assuming like a woman.
I love how you use "woman" in a negative way as if they are more petty than men.

I've worked with Lineman who risk their lives working on high voltage lines daily and they are the biggest crybabies, whiners, and gossipers I've ever been around.

If fact, I think on average women are much tougher than men.

Our problem is Diggs lacks the speed to ever be elite. He’s hopefully a very good #2. Surtain also fits the #2 profile, struggling with quicker, faster receivers. Do we want a #1 type like Adoree to pair with Diggs, or do we want to use two #2 types? If the latter, we better have a deep safety with incredible instincts and speed in a single high defense.

It actually does say that! Lol

Maybe these guys are quicker than NFL media.
Lol. Crazy isn't it. Wikipedia is better/faster than those media heads so-called "professionals"!

Agreed.

I think the signing of Lewis precludes bringing on a guy like Adoree. That said, Jackson hasn’t actually been stellar at corner since coming into the league.

In 3 years of playing has only has 2 pi9cks. Not worth whatever he wants to sign.

umm BJ only had 2 lol and ? we need role player sand starters..not saying sign this guy, i dont know who he is really..

Ive seen some very favorable rankings on Jackson.

This is what I’m seeing:

I doubt he'll get $10 mil from us but if it's much more reasonable, he may arrive.

Our budget isn't overly extensive but we'll see. I think we'll likely await the draft.

he wont get 10mil anywhere, thats why hes released,

he will concede eventually. look at JuJU 8mil seriously id ay id take that over 20mil for AC..times are changing for a lot of players. This guys a 6mil player MAX like Lewis..he will have to play for less base and get escalators , prove he can play more games before his payday comes in.

First off your link gives zero reasons with stats to prove their OPINION about Jackson. Second what a team thinks of a college player coming out and what they think about a player after seeing what they did after entering the league can be 180 degrees different. I'll bet that Dallas thought he would have have FAR more picks than just 2 in three years. Say Dallas was high on him during the draft means nothing after he has played in the NFL, that's what counts and 2 picks just doesn't equate as a big star.

That 2018 is pretty good minus the TD's. Rating allowed wise his 2019 is about league average.

He can also return punts

I thought the same thing regarding returning punts. I was shocked to see he hasn’t had much success there as he was an absolute dynamo at USC.
