Adrian Hamilton vs. Demarcus Ware

Hamilton Is A Beast.

I am really hoping to see Ware, Spencer, Butler, Wilber, and Hamilton as the Cowboys OLBs.

That may be the strongest position we have.

Ware,Spencer, Butler, W:hammer: ilber and Hamilton are my picks for outside linebackers also.

If Hamilton doesnt make the team, the Cowboys are ********... You see an immediate difference on QB pressure when he is on the field. Same with Butler and obviously Ware. And Sean Lee seems like he is blitzing more this preseason and is REALLY good at it. That's 4 good pass rushers... Throw in Hatcher and Ratliff on the D-Line. Now you got 6... Match that up with a vastly improved secondary manned by 2 ballhawking corners (3 when Jenkins gets healthy) and better safety play with Church stepping up.... Wow. And they say in preseason, temas are much more "vanilla" than they will be in during the reg season. I cant wait to watch this defense...

You'd think with Carter's athleticism, that hed be good too but I havent seen them send him on many blitzes when he's out there...

I'm not in any way comparing the two of those guys as football players. Demarcus is All-Pro and Hamilton is tryint to scrap his way onto this roster as a UDFA.

The one thing I'd like to talk about is how hard Hamilton hits the QB when he sacks them. He seems to drive right through and just plant them in the ground in a legal manner. Can you imagine how uneasy opposing QBs would be if they thought that Demarcus was going to hit them as hard as he could when he arrives? I really do think he lets up quite a bit when he has a chance to put a shot on the other team's QB. He has to understand that they don't let up when they have a chance to clock Romo and that is part of the way turnovers are forced and games are won.

I'm really pulling for Hamilton to earn a spot. I think he can contribute immediately as a nickel pass rusher. He can learn the rest of the game and his responsibilities as time goes on. He is quite green as he grew up at another position and really only has two years experience at a very small school under his belt as a DE. The things he does just makes me believe he is a natural-born pass rusher and just needs some time to acclimate to the speed and size of the NFL game. But I do think he'll get there as the game does not appear to be too big for him.

So please don't try and get cute and sneak this guy onto the PS. He can contribute right now.
