Why do people think Murray will price himself out of Dallas but then think AP is the guy to replace him?

Rather pay Murray if it's one or the other but they should let him walk and get 21 ready.

If the team is going to spend top RB dollar, better it be on AP than Murray. I still don't see it happening though.

It's actually pretty darn unrealistic to think that Peterson would be averaging much more than 5.2 ypc in 130 carries already this early. I love the o line and what they are doing, but people are way too quick to give ALL of the credit to them. What Murray is doing is certainly no easy feat and who cares about what Peterson could or couldn't do? Let's give the guy that is working his butt for this team now a little credit huh?

If we are going to pay bigger money for a RB...I would just rather get a very good one in the draft which would probably be cheaper but would have a lot more tread on the tires.

Of course the argument against that is...we need defense in the draft instead of a stud RB...and that is a legit argument.

All things being equal, I'll keep Murray.

But if they're not equal, and a Peterson taking much less money than Murray to rehab a tarnished image is available?

Yeah, I'd take any PR hit and make that move.

Love Murray

but you don't pay RB's top money like you used to.... the deal that Jerry offered Murray 4for 16mill is around what M.Lynch is making with Seattle

Because AD has already had his payday. Murray has not.

Lynch took that deal as somewhat of an outcast. He wasn't coming off one of the best rushing seasons ever... And he's not happy about his pay as you might have noticed.

Scary would be the fallout from allegations about fraud in his foundation, more revelations about his personal life and a possible conviction re child abuse.
Stick a pitchfork in him. I belief he is done.

But i will say this for AP, he half talent and half not killed nobody as opposed to that feller Josh Brent.
