I have been quite clear on my feelings for Ajayi. If, and it is a big if, his knee is checked out as okay then I would love to have him here. If his knee is not okay, then I would much rather them pick up Coleman, Duke Johnson or Yeldon. Of course, Gurley is the best back but I would not trade up for him. I also like Gordon but I don't think he will be there and, again, I would not trade up.

I would take most of the rookie RBs over Peterson and the price he would want. Especially if we can trade back and pick up extra picks and still get a solid RB.

Lol you want a guy who fumbles more than Murray did and a guy completely taken off most teams draft board because his knee issue is real? Yet you give me and others crap about running this team....omg...the truth is I am glad you're not running this team. I did like your other picks though would be great if Jones was there at 27.

I posted this yesterday the three top backs will likely be gone. Detroit sent their RB coach to coleman's pro day...strong indication a team has interest...Miami herald reported yesterday the dolphins are hoping Gurley falls to them at 14...Ravens, cards, and bolts all interested in Gordon. So that leaves Ajayi who has fumbling and knee issues...no thanks...now who Yeldon, Johnson, Abdullah? Again just reporting what these teams said yesterday.

From all I have read, Detroit is looking at Coleman in the second, not the first. Cowboys can trade down, pick up an extra pick and still get Coleman if that is who they want. Yeldon and Johnson are also good options. I am not high on Abdullah because of his fumbling issues. Give me Gurley, Gordon, Coleman, Yeldon, Johnson or Ajayi (if his knee is okay) and I am happy.

P.S. I hate to tell you but the Cowboys are also really high on Ajayi. At least they were until the knee injury news broke. If that news is incorrect, do not be surprised to see him in a Cowboys uniform in training camp. That is much more likely than seeing AP in a Cowboys uniform.

The article yesterday "implied" he would be in play with their 23 pick. Even referenced past history of taking Donald brown when he was with the colts. Just reporting.. As you know I am a fan of Coleman so this news sucks for me.

No I don't think he is on their board anymore. You and your personal jabs..such childish behavior.

Depends entirely on the knee, which I stated. There are reports that the news about the knee was either fabricated or overblown. I have no idea if that is true but I am sure the Cowboys do. Also, it depends on exactly what is wrong with his knee. Broaddus, the other day, said they might still be interested if it was a degenerative condition. Meaning, they could get him with a later pick and he could play fine for his first 4 years or so. RBs average shelf life is not much longer than that anyway. But it all depends on that knee and what is going on with it.

By the way, where was a personal jab?

Guess who else is a fumbling machine? Your boy AP.

RBs coming out of college with fumbling issues is actually the norm. Many HOF RBs came into the NFL with fumbling issues. This is nothing new, this is not something that should keep teams away in the draft. Why? Because it can be fixed, AP would fumble nearly 10 times a year and it got fixed and he went two seasons with 2 fumbles before it went to around 4.

And honestly, if Gordon, Gurley, and Coleman are gone; there will still be RBs to choose from. Yeldon, Johnson, Ajayi, and Allen are all good prospects (At least from the scouting standpoint, I have my gripes with Ajayi).

Don't confuse him with facts, sir.

Your previous post which is now deleted attacked my reading comprehension skills...par for the course for having a different opinion than you.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Vikings have said "publicly and privately" that Adrian Peterson "plays for them or no one."

Short of being truly blown away by a trade offer, it appears GM Rick Spielman is all-in on waiting Peterson out, even if he doesn't report to anything Vikings related before the season. RapSheet did leave open the door for the Cardinals to acquire Peterson after the draft, but multiple reports elsewhere have stated the Vikings are unwilling to part with Peterson for future considerations. If Peterson isn't traded by next Saturday night -- and it currently appears he won't be -- he'll either be a 2015 Viking, or sitting at home.

That post is not deleted and, I did question your reading comprehension, or lack thereof. I have said about 4 times in this thread that I want no part of Ajayi if his knee is a problem, yet you continue to push the point that I want Ajayi regardless of his knee.

I love the public game of back and forth between teams. Everybody's digging in about what they want and what they're willing and not willing to give up.

I still think this deal goes down, but I'm definitely glad that it will be coming to an end by the weekend.

You and me both! At least the draft part....he still may get released. Watch the cowboys not even draft a RB!

If we make it through the draft without AP getting traded, he will be a Viking this season. I see no way they release him.

As far as I'm concerned, it nothing happens during this draft, nothing will.

Spielman would effectively be cutting his own throat if he refused to trade Peterson during this draft, only to release him outright, getting nothing for him, just a few months later.

Just imagine having to tell the ownership how you managed to turn something into nothing.

Again, the link is there. Go through it, your argument is finished. You lost, move on.

The Eagles had the best run blocking line in the NFL in 2013, Nick Foles played well and there was a threat of the passing game. Again, you lose, move on.

I'm not going to sit here and hold your hand through this. I posted the link earlier, don't want to go through it? Fine. But do NOT counter me with bull****, ever. It's a wasted argument, and more important, it wastes my time. Do your research before responding.

And your first argument was allegedly Murray was a home-run hitter, because his number of 20+ carries went up with more carries.. And now, more carries doesn't mean anything when it comes to 40+ carries, because some random RBs which you can't point out in that list (but you can point out McCoy supposedly in 2013 to make a point) had only as many as Murray supposedly did...

So what would McCoy average with this alleged best run-blocking line in 2013 in regards to home-run hitting provided he was given an extra 80 plus carries? Would he drop in 40+ carries..
