193 pages, with Mr. 200 looming right around the corner.

It's safe to say this thread will be well-remembered in CowboysZone lore should Peterson end up in Dallas, perhaps rivaling or exceeding the Herschel Walker saga from decades ago. But will it be okay if we reminisce about the thread, while watching him play for Minnesota or another team outside of Dallas, should that alternate outcome eventually happen? Just inquiring to discover which discussion topics are not overly sensitive allowable ahead of time.
I'm down with that I will be the first to congratulate Esloan, MJ, and Jim they were right all along with their one sided opinion.

I mostly agree with you.

I'm down with that I will be the first to congratulate Esloan, MJ, and Jim they were right along with their opinion.

If they're proven to be right, I'll have no trouble giving them credit for it and taking a "told ya so!" or two, or three...

I've mentioned it to you numerous times before, it's insulting to those you're conversing with, whether that's intentional or not.

And you are who? I'm sorry I do not post as you see fit. Please do no bother posting with me if you find it that insulting.

Fair Enough. But, they open themselves to a lot of criticism if they slip back to 8-8 this year. Letting your stud RB go, after going so many years losing, then finally winning with that Stud RB.

And replacing the RB with a rookie.... At a time when we should be pushing for a Super Bowl.

Worst case scenario, we miss our shot now, Romo is done in 3 years, and we miss our shot then.

All these moves while great, and salary cap friendly, etc etc, dont mean squat if we cant push into the Super Bowl....or at least get close. I think if you get close, you are doing well in this day and age. Bounce here or there, and the Packers wouldve been SB champs...

Having a RB go 1800 yards was not enough for this team. Peterson has only run more than 1800 yards once, so just getting to where Murray was last would both be a huge accomplishment for a 30 year old back, and not enough to get us to a super bowl as we learned last year.

Give me a back that gets 1300 yards and more talent spread around the team. That's what we need.

It was enough. We got to the dance and was a bad call away from going to Seattle. We've certainly tried it without a run game too if you recall (8-8, 8-8, 8-8)

And you keep on insulting other people and feigning ignorance then. You've been clearly told by multiple people that they don't like or appreciate it.

But you continue to 'do as you please' and we'll get the mods involved if need be.

No one person's rights or opinions need to come at the expense of someone else's.

Great points. I'm just not sure that it has to be one or the other. Free agency is over. The draft is where we will be getting the talent to spread around the team.

People who want Peterson also want the same talent spread around the team that you do.

So the team's fortunes rode completely on '1800 yards'? Has the rest of the team remained in a vacuum, neither getting better nor worse? And for the record, Peterson not only went over 1800 yards, he crushed it. Without the benefit of having the same stellar supporting cast Murray enjoyed last year.

Give me a back that gets 1300 yards and more talent spread around the team. That's what we need.

Your opinion is duly noted.

But I don't see how it's simply a matter of either / or. Either we can get Peterson, or we can do everything else, but not both.

Give me a break. I tell you what go tell the Mods I put down lol. I never tell anyone what they must believe and do not tell people what or how to post a message. You come back with the insults but LOL is not an insult. You do what you feel you need to do.
