People are arguing like the only benefit to a dominant oline is to keeping the QB upright. A dominant oline benefits the entire offense, which in turn benefits the defense just like a dominant dline benefits the entire defense and also the offense.
The truth of the matter is that expecting one draft to fix a ravaged dline is fantasy. We're looking at reshaping that unit over the next two to three years. Which is also why you can't abandon the oline, it's still a work in progress.
We're not going to come into the regular season next year with a Top 10 DL no matter what we do, it just doesn't work that way.
