After Jerry's rant how can you do anything but root against this team

Resigning Micah means only caring about jersey sales.

The Chiefs would absolutely trade him. They showed that when they traded Tyreke. The Patriots of old were all about trading guys that were luxury items to fill other holes.

You can only have so many players make top line $ especially when their presence isn’t helping you get run over
You are talking about two well run organizations from the top, Cowboys are more bottom end. Never going to happen.

The ironic thing about all of this is how it has robbed fans of other teams of their fun in trash talking Cowboys fans about their misery.

What trash can they talk that would make us feel worse than the team's performance and the GM do?

We even now agree with many of their trash talking points about the Cowboys.

I wouldn't wish this hell on any other fan base. It is the worst football thing in the world to know and accept that your team will never again compete for anything special as long as it is held hostage by the family that owns it.

He also signed Pac-Man Jones, drafted Kelvin Joseph in the second round, signed Tank Johnson, signed Tyrone Williams (or was it White? He was a former GB corner) who was a wife beater, Sam Williams doesn't seem like a saint to me, Duane Goodrich definitely wasn't a saint, so if you're a garbage human being then you're on his radar. I know I'm missing some people.

He's been pretty salty lately........this is his third snappy remark over the last few weeks. Honestly, I wonder if he's starting to see some pressure from people he cares about, like family and/or friends. I have a hard time believing Jerry cares enough about what 3 beat writers think to coz the meltdown we see. I think this was a carryover from something or someone else and he took it out on them.
Either way, he deserves it..........

The Greg Hardy year was a tough one to watch. Jerry defended him in some odd ways....

We all know Jerry is a narcissist. He is also a dispicable human based off the lawsuits he’s involved with regarding his affairs. And he’s the man who signed Greg Hardy.

Now he wants to bully radio hosts who question the moves he DOESNT make (because he’s not the day to day GM anymore which is never brought up).

the only way out of this hole is for the organization to bottom out ala 2000-02 and force them to make real changes in order to be relevant again.
he said he is not the day to day GM? then who the heck is in charge? who is the GM?
one side of his mouth says nobody can be the ****** GM of the cowboys better than he is and now he is not day to day GM so its somebody else's fault?

He hasn’t admitted it. It’s a combination of Stephen and McClay. Jerry is just called in for the big things. He doesn’t do contract extensions. He probably couldn’t tell you everyone on the practice squad or maybe even guys 48-53 on the roster.

I’ve heard this from someone who works with Jerry on one of his other businesses. He has so many real state, developer, bitcoin, etc businesses he does not spend 24/7 on the Cowboys and hasn’t in a LONG time.

and therein lies the issue. he has to assign a GM, full time. he is enamoured with the title, and because of that Stephen and McClay can't have full responsibility and sharing the position and it doesn't work...obviously

Is this really a thing? I am perfectly capably of being mad at Jerry without rooting against my team.
But rooting for your team to what? Go 8-9 and get the 21st pick? Let them convince themselves they were just some bad luck injuries away from contending?

Or make it get so bad they have to evolve because people lose interest and sponsors lose money by giving it to them. Thus forcing real change.

Of course it’s a thing. It’s akin to a political philosophy known as accelerationism, which entails contributing to, and speeding up, the demise of a current political system so that it can be replaced by a preferred political system.

Right now, the systemic failings of the Dallas Cowboys are completely rooted and grounded in the ownership and management of the Jones family. Removing the Jones from the management side of the equation is the preferred solution to the systemic failures. Accelerating the path to that solution by wanting the current system (Jones management) to collapse under its own incompetent weight through not supporting the franchise is perfectly rational IF you believe Jerry and Stephen Jones are the core problems to our lack of success.
