I don't really know that our defense would have been able to stop New England, to be honest.

hard to say, the short passing attack has killed us all season. However we tend to play better in the second half.

Agreed the short passing attack has killed us all season.

Though Seattle's man def was picked apart by Brady , it was the zone that gave him problems. So Marinelli would have played mostly zone. And if Cowboys control the clock by good running , it could have been possible. Sigh ! ....the Dez Catch !

You never know, with our defense. New Orleans and Indianapolis had better offenses this season, and we shut down both of them.

True, I think it's a bad matchup though. I think their short passing game would have ate us up, not sure how we would have stopped Gronk either.

Seattle stopped them when they got pressure tonight, but I don't think we would have been able to get enough pressure on Brady to stop their short passing game.

I don't think so. It's different beating a team in game 4 and beating them in an NFC Championship game. When both teams are talented, it comes down to which team is smarter. We are not smart enough to win yet, maybe next season, maybe not. We shall see, but we don't belong on that stage yet.

I'm so angry. I just spent 15 minutes arguing with my niece b/c she was going for the Pats bc she hates Pete Carroll. But now the Pats will be hailed as the greatest team ever with the greatest qb ever and America's Team blah blah. I really hate this weekend. It's really one of the worst ever.

Made slightly more tolerable because EVERYONE knows they cheated. Some might pretend that the Patriots are innocent, but really, we all KNOW.

And I hung up on her. Seriously, so NO ONE can SEE that the Pats winniing has completely SCREWED us over IMO. I honestly feel even if we somehow win next year it won't matter. I honestly think the Pats have no entrenched themselves into the American psyche as the best team of all time and there's not a dang thing we can do about it. congrats NFL you got what you wanted and congrats on your salary cap machination to destroy dallas - it worked.

Can't wait for the 2015 League year to begin! Keep the necessary pieces, add a free agent DE, continue to draft well and the Cowboys are close! Can't wait!

New England would have been a terrible matchup for us...I just don't think we'd be able to outscheme Belichick.

If we ever play in the Super Bowl, we'd need to play Marvin Lewis and the Bengals. A layup...like when the 49ers beat the Chargers
