Hey no one is perfect and who said marriage is perfect. Instead of making each other miserable make each other happy by not being together. That's how I look at it. As long as they both stay in the lives of their kids that's all that matters.

Why does it have to be that? How about two people that grow apart and are no longer happy together?

People "grow apart" when they screw up. Maybe not something as blatant as abuse or an affair, but neglect, being absent, laziness, too self-absorebed ........ I just can't see those as good reasons either.

Maybe I'm the exception, but I've been married over 20 years and have gone through a hell of a lot of ups and downs, but I never thought of marriage as something that has a shelf life.

Aikman's finally ditching the beard. :laugh2:

I kid, I kid.

It's probably because he now has 3 daughters, and he blames her for not giving him a son who he can groom to be the next Aikman HOF QB. :laugh1:

Got to admit I'm blown away shocked at this.

Everytime I saw him I thought this guy has it made.

He's got a wife and kids great job and all the money you could ever need.

But you never know what's behind the closed door.

Not for long

Even if she gets half...I'm sure he'll still have plenty and will continue to make much more.

I wonder if he had a prenuptual.

Although, the prenup didn't help Tiger out too much IIRC.

Troy lives in the same block as Jerry so he's got plenty of money. I would just guess that he's far more concerned about his little girls than his bank acct balance.

Maybe prenups don't do a whole heckuva lot when you've got Jersey Shore reject ho's coming out of the woodwork with your sexting messages.

I say this, get Troy and the biggest, tallest, strongest beet farming Russian wife with hairy knuckles and a linebacker's build and get the artificial insemination thing going. 22 years from now, we'll have our next franchise QB.

That's because he basically paid her not to talk about it.

Thats probably all absolutely true about why people grow apart. But it's not good, for anyone, for people to stay together simply to stay together and not get divorced. It's a terrible idea that doesn't work for either of the people involved and certainly isn't good for the children involved either.

Who knows. Remember she was previously married and worked for the Cowboys. Maybe they had a 10 year arrangement to keep those " whispers " from being believed.....

I wouldn't doubt that the time away from home took its toll. This business puts a heavy strain on relationships. With how much we all know Troy is a perfectionist, I'm sure when he was home he spent hours upon hours researching and preparing for his next game.
