It's nice to end the season with a bowl win. IF and a BIG IF they can fix that defense and Griffin comes back I think they could win the Big 12 next year and be in the national championship hunt.

I can't see any positive for Griffin if he stays. He literally can't do anything more in college save a BCS bowl win and that really is unachievable at Baylor. I just don't see why he'd risk coming back.

There's zero reason football-wise. Now if he truly has a chance to make the Olympic team in the hurdles? Then maybe. I can see wanting to say for the rest of my life that I ran in the Olympics. Not many people on this planet can say that.

But then I'm not sure how good his chances of that would really be.

A lot can change in a year, and you said EVER, as in why try, how could they possibly build a contender..well ,they're on their way.

Well reality does go that far, they're highly regarded up front.

They gave up 25 sacks this year, tied for 72nd in the NCAA. Including sacks Baylor was tackled for a loss 51 times, good for 99th in the NCAA. Nobody in the BIG XII had more negative plays from scrimmage. Griffin was hit one out of every five pass attempts this season.

Baylor ran for a lot of yards, but their line isnt "great" by any stretch. If they are highly regarded it certainly is not warrented according to those numbers.
