Unfortunately, those observers are as rare as hen's teeth. :(

Hell, I'll do it. One out of two ain't bad. :D

Exactly! The DMN is already full of gossip mongering drama queens. We don't need another one. They are happiest when they can CREATE dissension and distraction for the team. You would think they would want the home team to be successful yet they do everything possible to distract them from their goals and tear the team apart.

They don't want to take the time to actually analyze the game and report on the good and bad of what's happening on the field as Breer did. Someone above mentioned that JJT is the next best one on the staff. While I agree that he isn't as "tabloid oriented" as some of the other, he doesn't give us what Breer did and he makes way too many factual errors.

Breer was head and shoulders above the other Dallas sports media.

Todd Archer is just as good. To me he was better than breer. Its a shame breer is leaving, but I still think archer is the best beat writer and I dont think it is close.

Archer's writing is better, but his analysis is no where close.

I liked Breer too, up until the TO nonsense over his contract that made him look petulant...His New England roots kept popping up though

Breer is NOT as good a writer, but he is SO much better as an analyst then Archer is its not even close.

Nowhere close is a stretch. I do think Breer was in a class by himself breaking down games.

Archer is pretty savy too though. Breer will be missed that is for sure.

but hey we have the engles. THey are always good for an unfunny nickname an overreaction and a complete misunderstanding of what is right in front of them.

That's too bad. I really like his contributions. I wish him well.

Hire Chad Peters.

I agree on both counts...

Breer was a breath of fresh air in his short stint here...

Chad Peters would be a GREAT addition in his place...
