All-Pro Team announcement thread; Six Cowboys **Merged**

dammmm, I knew he would be able to come in and start for the Cowbys and do a commendable job, but ALL PRO, very impressed. I think he deserves ROY over the others because he has made the OL better as well. Actually the best in the NFL. And the entire team has benefited from it. ..... The others can't say that.

Great awards for the players, they are well deserved. I'm surprised Martin is getting so much recognition, I mean WE know he's great, but it's still surprising to see the media give a big nasty his dues (especially a rookie). Also while it's nice Romo was 2nd team, it's a complete joke Romo was outvoted 44-3, I think that's pretty telling in the bias against him.

Sounds like motivation to get to and beat the Packers next week

has this team received more accolades than the 07 team?

That'd be scary.
We all know that 2007 team had about twice as many get recognition vs who deserved it.
They started off so hot and got the hype rolling and the Pro Bowls votes came pouring in. By season end very few deserved to be in there.

I think these 4 are all deserving.

There's something messed up here with the All Pro team. Zach Martin is now a rookie ALL PRO!

Yet I see at least 6 guys being touted as ROY ahead of him. Three WR, a DT and an ILB. I even saw the rookie CB for the Bears (Fuller I think) who got roasted every time I saw a QB go after him on the list.

How can a rookie get ALL PRO votes and not be ROY? How is that possible?

Because skilled players are valued more than linemen.

ODB should be rookie of the year. He's been just as dominant at his position as Zach has been his if not more. I hate it its a Giant but ODB JR is unfair. I can't remember the last time I seen a rookie receiver dominate like this.

Again, since it seems to be largely overlooked, Romo is at least the QB of the second all-pro team.

It's the good old boy network ... I don't think it's as much bias as it is just cliquish.

Agree. That one stinks of popularity contest versus performance. Vote should have been more 50/50 at worst.

Because Odell Beckham makes circus catches in losing efforts.

It's not even just the circus catches. The guy missed 4 games and still put up 1305 yards and 12 td's. Project that out over 16 games and you get 1740 yards and 16 td's, as a rookie. And with Coughlin (was really hoping they made the mistake of firing him) talking about how the Cowboys offense is doing things the right way with building an offensive line, the Giants are a strong bounce back candidate with the right off season.

The NFC East is going to be a dog fight next year with the Cowboys, Eagles, and Giants. Fortunately the Commanders have been a train wreck for the better part of the lasts 2 decades.

Congratulations to the 4 Cowboys named All-Pro today. Great to see Zack Martin getting the recognition he deserves. What a rookie!
