**** off!
Good stuff! Couldn't have said it better!
**** off!
We shouldn't be shopping for a backup QB in the off season. We should be working on Romo's successor.
Not with these RBs the aren't. Murray helped this O line big time, it's showing.
Maybe, but that's nothing like the 90s teams. It's not even the same as the 2014 team.
1. Sign Murray early. He was a difference maker on THIS TEAM!
2. Replace Weeden. This is the same Clown Posse who thought Brad Johnson was serviceable. This is Johnson, deuxième partie, la suite, encore une fois!
The team still would have had money for the Kracken I like"Wittle" Alex's idea of Shaun Hill.
If you are so myopic that you just can't get that each opportunity is a one of a kind, even for the same player, then you go after Chris Johnson if you insist Murray isn't the answer. You'd be wrong, of course. As we are seeing. But what this line needs, and quarterback needs is Murray blocking and getting the dirty yards after contact.
Is that a joke? Lawrence along with Gregory is gonna be a very good tandem at defensive end for the next decade. Especially if they can manage to re-sign or extend Hardy. Garrapolo hasn't shown much even when he's gotten his opportunities in pre-season or in all the blowout wins when Brady has been able to rest in the fourth quarter of games.
Lawrence has had ONE good game. ONE.
Lawrence has had a very good season so far. Of course people like you only look at sacks. He's been good at containing the edge against the run. He's gotten up field a number of times and just missed. Gregory being out hurt him. No pressure from the other side which led to no interior pressure.
I don't know if I'd go as far as good. More like incomplete. He played well against Philly and NO. Was awful against Atl at times in the second half. Didn't play as much on Sunday. I'll be curious about the totem pole of the DL going forward.
So according to you he had one bad game and it's incomplete? Most would say Morris Claibourne has had a good year and he had a rough outing on Sunday against Edelman and the Patriots. Lawrence has had a good year. No the sacks aren't there yet, but that doesn't mean the guy has had an incomplete year. One bad half doesn't equate to that. He's been the most consistent defensive lineman on the team, but because people just look at sacks they'll say he sucks.
He obviously didn't play well enough in those games to keep the job or to be the starter in Washington this season. Everyone has an opinion and it's basically pick your poison when it comes down to backup QBs they all have flaws that relegated them to backup duty. I feel Cassel is a better option than Weeden he's won 32 games as a starting QB. We'll just have to see how it goes with him and if we can stay afloat until Romo returns.
I am not good enough to pounce. I just want to hear how all the critics think it should have been done and to evaluate the realistic possibilities of those opinions.
No they wouldn't. They had to redo Witten to fit Cassel.
Obviously, but in those games, he was 87 of 121 (72%) for 1018 yards, 4 TDs and 3 INTs, not HoF numbers, but good enough to be a capable backup. He looked good running the Washington offense and was improving as his career progressed. I like him better than Weeden. (shrug)
I watch all the NFCE games, so I've seen McCoy play a lot more than Cassell, but I can't help but think Cassell will be better than Weeden. If Garrett and the coaches don't change things up some to help the players out, though, I'm not sure it matters.
They could have redone Romo. Please. Even Stephen Jones states emphatically the cap is never a problem.
I remember the Get Rid Of Payton chant when he was our OC. He and Zimmer were dispised by most on this board.
Give me an hour. I'm in Albuquerque right now.
