You know what, I totally forgot about Tasha Yar. Back in the day, she was not to bad looking either.

Denise Crosby's character definitely had a following. Her character's death in Skin Of Evil was so anticlimatic. Thankfully, they brought Denise back into the TNG universe in the Redemption episode--which, ironically, was a real storyline shocker at the time. A Romulan commander who is half-human and whose mother was born decades before she existed. That's great sci-fi.

EDIT: That didn't come out quite right.: Tasha went back in time within the alternate reality and had a daughter around the time she herself would have been born. That's reads better. :D

Time is the great equalizer for everyone. Just ask Wil Wheaton. Just kidding. :laugh2:

Well, not really. :laugh1:

That's no lie. She looks like the older, uglier sister of the Green Goblin.

It's funny you say that. I was thinking if you made her green and put black hair and a witches hat on her, she would be the prefect Wicked Witch of the West. :laugh2:

Yes, my pretty!

Okay spill it. Who of you freaks dislikes the Star Trek movies reboot? (the new one)

I thought it was awesome and loved it, (I bought the BluRay) but I've seen some Star Trek fans complain about it. :omg:

Not me. I loved it. Then again, I did not think that J.J. Abrams was going to disappoint with his interpretation anyway.

He did not receive as much screentime as Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto, but I though Karl Urban was the best of the former big three characters. His Bones McCoy was practically identical to DeForest Kelley's.

It was okay I guess. I wasn't all that thrilled with it though.

Speaking of reboots, did you notice this on that starship database site, at the lower left?

...that ain't running Windows! :D

Some interesting factoids about Seven of Nine in the imdb section on her.

Obviously, I can't post the entire article so here is two snips of it. You can read the rest here.

Full name: Seven of Nine Tertiary Adjunct of Unimatrix Zero-One In fact, this is a Borg designation and not actually a name. Used to be called 'Seven' by Voyager crew upon her request, and after the suggestion of Captain Janeway, as she said they could streamline it a little. (Source: VOY: Day of Honor)

Full Name at Birth: Annika Hansen Date of birth: Stardate 25479 (June 24th, 2348) Place of birth: Federation Tendara Colony Marital status: Single

Species: Human. Assimilated by Borg as an 8 year-old child. Severed from Borg collective as a 26 year-old adult, retaining portions of cybernetic implants.

Parents: Magnus & Erin Hansen (both assimilated by Borg ca. 2356); only known surviving relative is an aunt, Irene Hansen. Eccentric exobiologists Magnus and Erin Hansen investigated the existence of the Borg, who were rumoured to exist near the Delta Quadrant border. They were last reported to be leaving a remote outpost in the Omega sector, headed towards the Delta Quadrant in a small vessel, The Raven. Using a experimental cloaking technology, they could discover and study the Borg undetected. They ended up far in the Delta Quadrant when they followed a Borg cube through a series of transwarp conduits. A temporary disturbance in the cloaking technology made the Borg aware of the Raven and its crew. Annika was assimilated by the Borg in 2356 at age eight, along with her parents. It is possible that the Hansen family were the first humans to be assimilated by the Borg in the 24th century (technically, a group of time-travelling Borg had already assimilated humans in the year 2153, but these had never been part of the greater Borg collective).

Annika Hansen spent eighteen years of her life as a Borg drone, given the designation Seven of Nine. As a drone, she assisted in the assimilation of millions, from individuals to entire species. She personally assimilated many individuals from a variety of species, including Humans, Klingons, Ferengi, Bajorans, Bolians, Krenim and Cardassians. Source: (VOY: "Infinite Regress")

<snip...>

Trivia: When she was a little girl, she wanted to be a ballerina. (Source: VOY: One Small Step). Favorite color: red (Source: VOY: "The Gift"). As a young child, Annika often stayed with her aunt, Irene Hansen. Her favorite treats were strawberry tarts, which Irene once used to coax Annika out of a guest room she had locked herself in. She was very strong-willed, and did not hesitate to point out if the strawberries were not perfectly ripe. (Source: VOY: "Author, Author"). Has a great singing voice and used to duet singing frequently with the Doctor. (Source: VOY: Someone to Watch Over Me). Used to teach Neelix how to sing. However, she eventually gave up due to the fact that Neelix's vocal chords were incapable of producing basic diatonic tones. She advised Neelix to confine his singing efforts to the sonic shower. (Source: VOY: Pathfinder). Had her first date ever with lucky Lt. Chapman in the episode VOY: Someone to Watch Over Me, selecting him from the entire crew complement, using as criteria 'common interests', and recommended as a nice guy by Harry Kim. Unfortunately, the date did not go very well, as during dancing poor Lt. Chapmans ligament was torn as a result of a Seven's rigid dancing maneuvers. (Source: VOY: Someone to Watch Over Me). Her designation includes Unimatrix Zero-One which means the Borg Queen's Chambers. She and her parents used to be assigned and work close to the Borg Queen. (Source: VOY: Dark Frontier). She and Lieutenant B'Elanna Torres were always some sort of rivals since B"Elanna used to feel that Seven was invading her domain (Engineering) especially when she was taking initiatives such as enhancing Voyager systems or diverting power without asking her permission. (Source: VOY: One Small Step) Her favorite game is Kadis-kot, that used to play frequently with Naomi Wildman and Neelix. She possesses an impressive visual acuity index of ninety nine point six. (Source: VOY: Relativity)

I enjoyed the movie. But from a fan stand point is is blasphemy. J.J. Abrams should rot in Rurapenthy for what he did.

If you mean breast augmentation, I do not believe that is true.

There is a Youtube video called "T'Pol -vs- Seven Of Nine". There is a scene in Enterprise where they actually let T'Pol let her hair down and she is unbelievably hot in it. (and definitely doesn't look like she has had any breast augmentation)

Hit up Youtube and forward to the 1:35 mark and watch till about the 2:10 mark I believe. HAWT! :laugh2:
