They seem to be exploring all options this year.
Not buying it. We'd have to give up #4 this year, our 2nd rounder and then our 1st rounder next year for someone who's not even going to play right away.
I think Connor Cook in the second is much more realistic as such a scenario guarantees that we may as well start over.
If this were to happen, I am not sure what would be more fun to watch -- Risen's dream scenario coming true and having to give the front office credit or the lamentations of the anti-QB crowd.
Trading up to no 1 to nab a 3 or 4 year clipboard holder. Sounds brilliant.
No 1 3000 points.
No 4 1800 points.
I guess we can trade 1, 2, 3, 4 and next years 1st for a back up QB
or we could use those 5 picks to actually help the team.
We're not trading up to #1 for Wentz. We might be inquiring to the cost for diligence. Or to get an idea what it would cost another team to leap us into a scenario where both QBs are gone by four.
I'm in favor of taking either top QB if he's there where we sit. I wouldn't consider moving up for either of them. I'd rather try to get back into the first with a first rounder next year to get Lynch if we thought we could do it and really wanted to add that franchise guy now.
Cook in the 2nd would have me breaking crap in my house.
If the scouting department is advising the team to move up to 1 to get a qb...you do it
