I think the right move would be to move on from T. Will. Draft Courtland Sutton WR SMU....

1. Bryant
2. Sutton
3. Hurns
4. Beasley
5. Brown
6. Switzer

:flagwave:
You forgot the other FA that was signed Thompson.

Great signing. Cut Dez and draft a WR and our WR issues are much less. Dez has been a drag mentally and financially on this team for a couple years now. Time to let him go ***** and moan on another team.

Did you say that about Irvin, Sanders, Haley, Allen, Grant? I could keep going...

Change Thompson for Beasley or Switzer and I'm fine with that

The whole Thompson move has thrown me for a loop. Just don't understand the deal...From what I've heard...this is the new WRs coach...pushing for his guy...so it makes you wonder if Switzer could be on the way out. Which would stink...since we burned a 4th round pick on him just last year.

I have a hard time believing Beasley could be on the way out...he's still a weapon in the slot.

Still think were drafting Ridley. Im thinking its Williams who may be the goner now. Dez, Hurns, Ridley? With Beasely or Switzer , probably Switzer running the underneath stuff???? Mmmm,.... not bad really.

This is a good signing that gives the Cowboys leverage to reduce Dez' pay if they are still interested in keeping him. If not, they can try to trade him, or just release him in June.

Hurns is a smart and can play wide or in the slot, and he has enough speed. That's a more useful fit perhaps with Dak.

No reason to wait until June if they are going to release or trade. It saves 8.5m against this year's cap and gets him off next year's. Absolutely no reason to split it. I guess you could hold onto him just in case there was an injury here or on another team. I would just as soon get him off the books in one year if it comes to that.

Mixed feelings if thats the way it shakes out. I like Williams a lot more than most do,... and have been a fan of Cole since day one.

I say they go to camp with Dez, Hurns, Thompson, Switzer, Brown, Lenoir, Draft Pick. TWill and Beasley will be playing somewhere else. Maybe package deal to Seattle for ET with a 3rd and Dallas gets ET and a 5th

I thought it was $4 million now, but $8 million if they wait until June 1st. No?

This is actually a good signing, it seems fans who arnt familiar with him are the ones who don' understand. Maybe because I am heavy into fantasy football and have watched these players over the years, and not just the ones on my favorite football team roster.

What you guys have to realize is that dede Westbrooks breakout preseason last year along with marquis Lee's emergence the last couple of years is what pushed hurns out the door.

That is really rare for a team to have that much talent at the position. C'mon now the jags got rid of Robinson AND Hurns?

Not only are both still good wr's but it took stones for the jags to make that move.

Trust me, Hurns is a good signing and I believe he and Thompson should replace both twill and butler who may also be traded if not Dez.

Dez, Hurns, and Thompson would be way better options for dak and both can catch with their hands unlike twill.

C'mon guys look at the big picture. Our wr core is actually starting to look similar to the eagles of last year. Not too much going on but just enough.

ehh. i'd wager you got caught up on his one year of fantasy stats, and it stuck with you more than fans not being familiar with him because they only watch the cowboys.

i like him, like the signing, but he's not some super star that was pushed out because the jags are so loaded. did you miss the part where they paid 10 mil for a yr of moncrief?

Dang it, you guys did something.

Congrats, I think it’s a good signing. Just hope Dak gets better at hitting that deep ball to him though.

Makes no sense to get rid of Switzer. Similar style of receiver to Beasley. Not even a third of the money.
