I also disagree. But a different reason. We just showed the world we're patsies.

If you play strong and lose....that's one thing. But when your best play is your offensive linemen decking a LBer, you have nothing. Zero.
This only means things to fans.

Players don't care about this.

They won’t win or lose because of Cook. Hes going to get his 12-17 rushes and 65-100 yards. The D needs to force Allen into a few picks and long field goal tries.

I feel confident in our team. Yes, Buffalo has improved with Brady as their OC over Dorsey. But their defense isn’t great and is exploitable
I said this last week and more about Cooks. I knew what he would do to us. Missing Hankins was bad. This was the response I got. ^

Right, but the Eagles loss means that the division race isn't over. From that perspective, if we can get the 2nd seed, then maybe we can at least last until the NFCC before our season ends. If, however, we do go to the WC, then this season will hit a sudden end in the division round.
If...maybe...if

Not the way to enter the playoffs. Especially considering the Cowboys can't take care of their own business.

But, it's one game. Just as our win over Philly was one game, this was one game. I expect the Cowboys to come out fighting, and I think we can beat Miami. If we can, then the division race is back on. Especially with how the Eagles are crumbling.
I see this team rebounding against the Dolphins. No way both units come out flat this week. Lots of people think we won't win but they will still tune in to watch us get jabbed and lose once again....but they will be disappointed when the other Cowboys team shows up after having a week off. Gotta love it.

this is the NFL which stands for not for long. Todays flavor of the day was Philly, now its San Fran, but as we have seen, things change on a dime any given Sunday due to injury, match ups, different factors. You just gotta let the games be played. We have just as much a chance as anyone. The NFL wants parity, and they got it. This isnt the 1990's. We must remember that. The cream rises to the top without fail guys. Lets see. All it takes is 1 hiccup by Philly and the Niners.

I see it like this. We are in full control of what happens. If we TCB the next 3 weeks, we will win the div. Which means home games. I feel fairly confident Philly will drop at least 1 more. Its about US doing our job now.

It's the Giants and the Cardinals. And you're confident that the Eagles will lose 1 of these last 3, and the next 2 are at home????

I know a lot of us are sore after our loss to Buffalo. However, almost no harm was done. The Eagles loss to the Seahawks last night means that if we can win the remainder of our games, and, if Tommy DeVito is playing and can lead the Giants to beating Philly at least once, we might be back in the division race. Somehow, the Giants are still in contention for a playoff spot (https://www.foxsports.com/articles/nfl/2023-24-new-york-giants-odds-odds-to-win-super-bowl-nfl-playoffs-division#:~:text=The Giants have a 0.2,of earning a playoff spot.), albeit not very high. We were probably going to need the Giants to win one against Philly regardless of how the game against the Bills finished in case we dropped one. Let's face it, starting with the start of the Cowboys win streak, we were asking the Cowboys to win 9 consecutive games and still need a bit of help. Naturally, this is the NFL, and winning 9 games in a row is especially difficult.

If the Cowboys can beat the Dolphins, who knows? Maybe the Cowboys can start another winning streak? Especially with the Lions (as good as they are) at home, where we dominate this season, and the Commanders at the end of the season, I don't think this season is over yet. Especially since Philly seems to be floundering a bit. So, as bad as the loss to the Bills was, this division race is far from over.
NO HARM DONE?????? This club was exposed and since the Boys play in a co-cat league you can bet the house that the better teams in the league with their stout O-Lines are going to run non-stop against our lite weight defense. Buffalo threw the ball 7 times for 85 yds.......think about that! 7 TIMES Allen attempted to pass the ball, the rest of the time Buffalo ran it done the BOY'S throat! Look for other teams to stay with the run game longer after this blowout!

I said almost no harm done. Obviously, it was a terrible loss. I'm more referring to the division race. I think we knew that our run defence was a problem. It's one of the reasons I want us to sign Suh. However, as I was saying, the division race has very little harm done for now. However, the Cowboys cannot lose another game if we want to play home games in the playoffs. That was the point of my op.

There’s been harm done to the teams confidence and the fan bases confidence that we can win on the road in a big game. We didn’t just lose to Buffalo, it was a complete butt whipping. We’re a sub 500 team on the road.

I disagree. You got the help you needed, but failed to capitalize. Now we have one less chance to close the gap.
Regardless. The road to winning a SB goes through SF. They will run the ball. If we can't figure out how to stop it, the rest is a moot point.

Win we control destiny.

Lose we don’t.

Win Giants don’t have to win for us to win division.

Lose Giants have to win for us to win division.

But no harm done!!

I predicted correctly that we would lose in Buffalo BUT the Eagles would also lose. That came to pass last night. I said everything essentially would remain the same heading into the Miami game with yet another opportunity for us to take the division and put pressure on Philly. The Eagles are crumbling under said pressure because they are learning what that is like. Its daunting. Question now becomes, can we TCB in Miami, and second, will Philly lose 1 more game? Should get very interesting.
This may come down to the last game of the season.
Where we must win and they must lose
Like last year.

Get your hopes real high, bro.
Why it’s a sports entertainment. My disappointment about the Buffalo game was that we didn’t show up and it was a waste of 3 hours. For the most part the Cowboys have been a joy to watch the last 3 years. The loses to 49ers in the playoffs was heartbreaking but at least the Cowboys showed up and played their best. Made the games entertaining.
