Am I just too much a Dallas homer that I take for granted that Philadelphia is overrated?

I don’t know about during the week… All of his teammates say he’s not the same behind closed doors as what the world sees. They all defend his leadership and style. I think he’s got his guard up when he talks to the media.… That’s why he has that image. I never once heard that he was a bad leader in the locker room. Quite the opposite actually.

I will never doubt Hurts when it comes to work ethic and leadership… I still have my own questions about what his ceilings are as a QB on the field.
I don't know. I think part of that was just players not wanting to air locker room stuff because there were other reports that some players thought Hurts wasn't a great leader and too distant at times.

And we all saw how he acted during games. It's weird that a guy who apparently is so chummy and a great leader inside the locker room is so distant on the sidelines, rarely interacting with teammates, getting them fired up, etc. The pictures of him just sitting on the bench by himself were numerous to count. One of the local Philly guys made a point last year to contrast Dak, when he was celebrating Bland's attempt to break the int for TD record to Hurts. Dak leapt off the bench and ran down the sidelines with Bland hoping for the TD and the beat guy made the point if that had been Hurts, he wouldn't have moved from the bench.

They’re depending on rookies to perform. That rarely works out well. They’re dealing with injuries, like lots of teams. Sirianni is a peculiar dude. I think he pretty much knows he’s gone no matter what after this season. Hurts, once a media darling, is now considered a waste of money. If he steps up to prove doubters wrong, they’ll be pretty good. If not, third place could happen.
Uh, we are starting 4 rookies. So does this logic apply to us as well?

And what injuries are they dealing with? Pretty much everyone on the loaded offense is healthy. The only two "out" are Rodgers and White. That's it.

Yeah… let’s just say I don’t see it that way. I guess we’ll see.

Inviting others to speak some sanity into my brain. I'm just very, very hard pressed to convince that last season's debacle of a 2nd half in PHI was somehow a one-off, and that their strained faith that Siriani/Hurts can pull it together even having lost arguably the soul of both their O-line (Kelce) and their D-line (Cox) won't prove to be foolish.

Talk some sense into me.
Ask the same question after tonight's game between the Eagle and Packers...........................LOL!

I think the eagles likely win the division.

Doesn’t mean the cowboys can’t. I think they could. But I do think the eagles are going to be a good to very good team again.

I hope I’m wrong and they have an awful season.
