so keep denying that he has had success against the cowboys, then we'll be sure to win!
Who's denying anything?

Now hold on...

I didn't say I'm never pessimistic or that I don't make the occasional negative comment regarding the Cowboys.
But you'd be hard pressed to find a post where I am "expecting" a loss.

There's a difference.

I love this thread. The reality is that no one knows what will happen Sunday. Those that mentally prepare themselves for a loss are weak. Perhaps you should find a different sport and different team to cheer on. The Lions are looking for fans right now, and they are guaranteed to lose almost every week.

I myself have confidence every single week that we'll at least be competitive and we'll have a chance to win. If we lose, then so be it. It comes with the highs and lows of being a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

...or perhaps those 5-11 seasons under Campo earlier this decade have slipped your memory banks. No one likes to lose, but aside from a couple of games this year where we played without our starting QB, we've been competitive in every single game. That's all I ask for.

I Honestly am a little nervous but excited at the same time, I think we get the win, and T.O. has a big game...

but i know from experience it ain't gonna happen. i'll probably be sweating out another close one and cussing.

Exactly.

I think they'll win, because so many times they should have and didn't. But that means nothing for the first round of the playoffs. A loss there would be magnified over this one.

Nope I don't agree with the OP, or anyone else in this thread who did agree with him.

We're going to win.

I have less than no faith that this team can get it done. Do I want them to win? Of course, but I will be STUNNED if they do. I'm talking Douglas knocking out Tyson, miracle on ice, Villanova beating Georgetown stunned.

I can say, with very little exaggeration, that this team is one of the most inept "big" game teams in the history of organized sports. They are soft, commit far too many penalties, make incredibly stupid and boneheaded decisions on the field, and all of these terrible qualities come to their peak in big games. People can say "but we beat New York" all you want, but the fact is nobody but our defense played well that game, New York was without their two best offensive players, and it wasnt a do or die game.

It won't matter if Philly has nothing to play for. I'm confident we would lose to Detroit if it was a win or go home game.

i think we will lose too. still, 9-7 after an absolutely horrible injury riddled year is pretty damned good. 10-6 would be miraculous.

No its not. This team lost games it shouldn't have lost, period.

Arizona, St. Louis, Pittsburgh.

Injuries are no excuse. I really hope that people don't bring out the injury excuse if Dallas loses. I can barely stand the officiating crap as it is. If injuries become a dominate theme around here, its going to be pretty damn sad.

Guys, at least be thankful that we are still playing for a playoff ticket.

Its not like we are the freaking Lions here, we have not been blown out 1 time this year( if I remember correctly) with Romo at QB.

Yea the Rams and G-men smoked us, but that was with BJ/Bollinger at QB which is really like playing with no QB, seriously.

I remember those 3 straight 5-11 seasons when you had JACK to play for in December, I guess some of you guys want to go back to that so you wont be dissappointed if we lose the final game.

At lease the final game actually means something!!!!

We may not be the best team in the NFL, but we dam sure are not the worst either. The fact of the matter is that with Romo at QB, we can be competitive with every freaking team in the NFL. That is something alot of franchises could only hope for (see Lions and Raiders).

you could also say we lost games because of our punter and a hurt romo. mcbriar would have given us at least 1 win(either pitt or balt). brad gave the game to the rams. say those 2 are wins. we would be 11-4. not to mention felix jones was looking like a top 3 rb in the league. injuries and penalties are the main reason we may not make the playoffs. check out our penalties. you will be SHOCKED. dallas penalties 115(most in the league by a large margin). patriots penalties 55(lowest in the league by a large margin, no wonder they are good without brady). league average 82 penalties.

I thin that we win on Sunday just to keep this soap opera season going. Besides, if we don't make the playoffs, what the heck will ESPN have to talk about?
