Amari Expendable

Amari is the one that makes everything else work. Everyone respects his route running and that opens everything up for Lamb and company. It was awful to see both he and Lamb out yesterday.

not even just respects, but his precision route running by design opens up the field. like even if he's not getting the ball, he's clearing people out with purpose.

Yeah I'd like to think if Amari misses we will be ok..not sure if yesterday is proof that we aren't or if it was just a bad game by everyone overall. But that was not encouraging at all and that may be our same receiving group this Thursday.

i think we'll see them look good on Thursday ... and we still won't know anything because the Raiders suck lmao.

Gallup is expendable if anyone is, yesterday was his chance to step up and he couldn’t beat man coverage

Coop creates so many issues at the LOS that it frees everyone else up. MG ain't it he's a nice piece and all, but when he needed to step it up he didn't deliver. It is what it is.

Reminder .. do NOT post about COVID in the Fan Zone!

It's an automatic 3-day suspension!

Cooper is so important to this team, he just commands so much attention and allows everyone else to have better #'s we really need him back.

It's unfortunate that it took his absence for people to realize just how valuable the guy is.. That said, I think he should be ashamed of himself for .. you know.. not doing the thing that we're not talking about.. and having it cost him maybe three games.. for reasons we can't talk about..

I have loved everything about Amari since he became a Cowboy. Great team player and humble - rare for a WR. But this .,.. I hope he feels good about it- sitting at home watching the team struggle when we really need him.

Yeah, lets assume Gallup should be in ALL PRO form a couple games after an injury and missing snaps.
Amari being out doesn't help of course.
I don’t think Cooper would have made this a win
The oline got beat over and over and that was the biggest issue

So? Pass it to Wilson, our Tight Ends or even Zeke then. None of them could do anything.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not on the "Lamb is our #1 receiver" train. Just sayin that yesterday Coop couldn't have saved the day.

But coulda woulda... no one can prove his stance anyway, so let's leave it at "He's f'*%&§g necessary" because that I can sign.
Ummm...Dak targeted 9 different receivers yesterday. Wilson and Brown couldn't catch a cold. He was 6-6 when targeting Zeke. He targeted Gallup 10 times and Gallup only came up with 5 receptions.

Dallas is going to get their butts kicked in 2025. They'll have to re-sign...

Dak
Cooper
Martin
Collins
Lamb
Joseph

In 2024 it's...

Lawrence
Badiasz
T Smith
Diggs

I guess enjoying this seasons ups and downs is difficult for someone. Yes, let's all worry about three years from now.

oh he beat man coverage but Dak over threw it by 10 yards lol. Dakuracy.

Amari has to make better decisions about his health choices. Private choices should not keep you off the field for multiple games. Dependability is also an important trait for key players.
He shouldn't have been put in that position by the league - that is not his fault.

Hard to say. The inability to get open quick allowed the D to pin their ears back and attack. The refusal to even try to establish a run game just made it even easier for them. I don't think they man up if Cooper plays.

Without Amari we’re a dink and dunk offense. Before he arrived in 2018 we couldn’t get the ball down the field. He changed our entire offense and we started winning. When we lost him on the first series against the Jets a few years ago we couldn’t get the ball down the field and Gallup didn’t step up. Without Amari yesterday all we did was drink and dunk. When he’s on the field it stretches the field and opens up opportunities for other receivers. Those fans who say he’s expendable haven’t been watching the games. The only receiver we had yesterday that showed any consistent hands was Dalton Schultz. His blocking wasn’t very good but he didn’t have any drops.
