Exactly. I just wish these guys would just be honest and say I like to play a superhero to defend women I don't knows honor. Nobody really has nothing too reckless and those that did got called out. Don't get why some guys feel that need to be an online superhero. I could see if this was your family or something but some random? I don't get it when if this was about a male the vast majority of the same people wouldn't have jack to say.

I have yet to see a thread calling for Broaddus' job. It's a matter of degree and threshold.

You were agreeing with his response to me, you commiserated with your dislike of being boxed in. I get the dodge though. Introspection is scary.

Oh god, this superhero talk again. Maybe get a thesaurus. Some people don't find her as annoying as others, get over it. It's nothing to do with her honor.

She's definitely better than Lindsay Draper who I couldn't stand. Guess I'm not being a superman for Lindsay by saying that.

Everytime I've had a convo with you about anything you've had the same miserable tone. Ignore from now on

Hispanics love football, too, and not because of some girl on a broadcast who speaks Spanish. Give them more credit than that.

I can't be boxed in so try again. I agree introspection is scary that's why you don't want to do it and keep trying to put it on me.

Why would I need a thesaurus because you said so? You must be crazy because I don't find her annoying and if you wasn't being a gasp superhero you'd see that. I don't think you can find one post of mine saying she was terrible or anything. Its everything to do with her honor because if I'm not like Ohhh she's so awful what are you talking about in regards to me buddy? You don't think Draper is cute so of course you wouldn't put your cape on for her. That's not uncommon.

Miserable tone? That's your problem reading tone into typed words. Lastly why do you people tell me you're going to ignore somebody? Is that supposed to ruin my day? It won't I'll be fine just like I'm sure you will it isn't like your putting money in my pockets or anything. Peace

This is the big lie that I have seen bandied about at particular political sites for several years now. I have been fascinated in a morbid way the double speak has turned notions of social justice into a pejorative. It's downright Orwellian.

That is precisely why people do it. While you may be at work, home, or someplace you feel is private, this forum is a public forum. The powers that be here work hard to gate the community but that is to ward off bots, trolls, and the like not to keep the public out.

As such this is a powerful place to share ideas and knowledge. And this notion that it is inconsequential is flat wrong as the behavior of the powers that be in the wider world speak a different tune. It's why companies and governments dictate policy and rhetoric by social media as much as they do by any other individual other than shareholder, the last 3 major elections were heavily influenced by online behavior, and various organizations plan rallies and meeting around bulletin forums just like this.

While I think this place's owner would have kittens should anyone try that last bit around here the fact remains that you are not going to be able to talk to dozens or hundreds of unique people and have them all listen to you at your job, watering hole, gym, home or anywhere else available to most Americans. It's why companies and nation states spend so much time and effort on bots and trolls to dictate narrative.

As for what goes on in public meetings of shareholders and city councils or stadiums full of sports fans this type of exchange is pretty tame.

And as for your false equivalence of the treatment men, I have seen people call for the job of Kelsey Charles, her predecessor whose name eludes me, Taylor Stern, and now Ambar Garcia. What I have not seen are similar action towards Broaddus, Spanola, Phillips, Eatman, Helman, Newton, Ellis, Sullivan, Kavner, or any other man over at DC.com. Sunni the cheerleader used to get a pass but she never spoke her mind unless pressed. It is what it is as are the demographics of this place.

And you think that's why they watch soccer?

My point is, the hot empty-headed sideline reporter draws ZERO viewers. Nada.

Or Hooters and Twin Peaks or any other of a number of examples. Some people are just not going to see it even if you rub their faces in it.

So you think people tune into football games to see hot sideline reporters. Got it.
