American Idol season 10

Pia was my favorite again tonight.

I liked James too! He didn't remind me of Adam Lambert so much tonight.
 
Haley Reinhardt is a phenomenal talent. Her and Alaina. Scotty will be a star as well. Yes they are all country but still.

James is unreal and will have a great career. I like Casey as well but I'm not in the "Casey is the greatest thing in the world" camp.

If I had to pick the winner from this bunch just based on pure vocal ability and the sound and tonality of their voices, I think it would be Haley.
 
Naima was so entertaining. Loved the rap/reggae bit and Rihanna tweeted to vote for her. How cool is that?

Lauren is one of my favs, but tonight lacked a little something.

I hope Pia doesnt sing all ballads and goes uptempo next week.

Stefano tried to change it up, and I admire him for trying, but I didnt like it. I like him though.

Scotty was great, as was James.

I dont get Casey, or Jacob. They are just not my cuppa. Thia puts me to sleep.

LMAO @ Paul. He is so weird.

Karen is so cute, but I think she goes home.

Ashthon will be in the bottom and I think Haley as well.

N A I M A. Super cool.
 
I'm tending back toward this being the best group in Idol history.

Naima - freaky and good. I love Rihanna.

Pia - she was OUTSTANDING when she was belting out the lyrics but then when she would just speak the lyrics it nosedived a little. But I love when she whales.

Thia Megia - She can flat out sing. I loved her. SHE IS A FAV.

Haley Reinhart - I thought she nailed it and loved it.

Durbin - Nailed it, made it his own and Owned it - Winner!

Paul reminds me of a leprechaun or maybe an elf.
thia can sing but has zero personality she is always boring
scotty has such a cool voice
I wasn't as impressed with naima as others.
and I decided Stephen Tyler looks like a pirate
 
First of all I thought all of the mics were goofed up tonight. Several times it sounded like the singing was way too low and then would pick up volume. Not exactly fair to the contestants.
  • Lauren is a great singer, but I didn't like it.
  • Casey was great. I love Joe Cocker so I liked that song a lot.
  • I think Ashton is stunning but I was not in love with that.
  • Paul is different, but I didn't like his too much.
  • Thia can sing, but I wasn't impressed too much.
  • Pia is a star. Beautiful girl with pipes from heaven.
  • James has impressed me every week and he did again. Fool can sing.
  • I really like Jacob, but that bored the hell out of me tonight.
  • Haley was one of the best tonight. Don't know what Randy was babbling about being bored.
  • Karen blew it. I think she's gone.
  • Stefano can hit great notes, but the song didn't work.
  • Scotty was born to sing country and he did a decent job.
  • I am not a Naima fan. I did not know that song. But I loved it. I loved the reggae mix to it.

i just wish she hadn't sung any man of mine because that song has gotten two people eliminated(one in season 5 & one last season). lauren should've sung something different.
 
ashton was eliminated(sorry, hos:( ). casey was in the hospital. i hope he feels better. who did you guys think should've been out? for me, i thought it was going to be karen.

She is still stunning. Just sang a song she shouldn't have.

10 years of this show. People still haven't figured out how to pick songs. I don't get that.

i don't either. you'd think that since there is such a wide array of songs out there that it would be easy for them to pick one.
 
Ashton can be a star. I think she will be. Jenniffer Hudson-type success maybe more.


I hope a producer, studio picks her up and grows her career.

There is so much talent this season. I seriously like almost all of them. I didn't start off liking James' screeching very much but now that he is trying to show more control I find him more enjoyable.

I wish the girls would stay away from the boring overdone power ballads. Because I really like Pia and Thia but I want them to be more interesting.

Casey is not sexy. Even shaved :laugh2:
But the guys sings with passion. I like that.

Paul is strange and weird and has a unique voice. I'm really starting to dig it.

I did not care for Lauren or Scotty too much originally, just because that isn't my type of music, but they are both adorable and really good singers.

I'm really enjoying this season.

I am not either. She constantly goes flat. Her voice just does not take her where she tries to go. And I'm sorry but I thought her umbrella was a hot cheesy mess.

what did you guys think of tonight's show? the theme was songs from the year the contestants were born.
