As long as everyone knows the situation when the sign up, then I have no problem with it. Contract, record deal, or not, they give the contestants a way to make themselves known. The exposure is off the charts.

Had a chance to talk with Colton Dixon some today at an event in his home town. Mostly talked with his mom since I know them better than Colton.

He is really excited about what is laying ahead for him but he is just as excited for his sister Schuyler. They are trying to figure out the next step and they have some representatives working through the legal stuff. He is co-writting some music with his sister so they might be performing together once the tour has ended.

Here is a pic of Colton with my daughter who really hit it off well with him. He is such a nice guy. They talked a lot about their mutual love for all things Beatles....
