Amon Ra St Brown signs New deal

Good to Great players always get what the market dictates. There’s no mystery at any position what it will take to retain a player with high value like Cedee. The NFL is just like all other businesses when it comes to market value. You get what you pay for. There are zero mysteries.

When the Jones talk about waiting for the “leaves to fall”, being “comfortable with ambiguity” or “We don’t set the market”, they look and sound exactly like what they are: Football idiots on how to build a roster that can seriously compete for a championship.

They are great at making money. They are pitifully under-equipped to lead an NFL front office in the cap era. The evidence is overwhelming. They are hillbillies playing fantasy football and it is no longer even in question.

Didn't this happen with Zeke Bob? No we're not going to set the market, then they ended up setting the market?? Stop playing around, to me the leaves comment was just about this. Seeing where the market is, and going from there, waiting on Jefferson etc

I don't think the price for CeeDee just went up. I expected him to get more than that.

St Brown isn't the WR Lamb is.

And St Brown just tied the largest AAV for a WR (with Tyreke Hill) and blew out the highest guaranteed money with $77MM (Hill's was $52MM)

Now having said that, if the $77MM actual guaranteed or practically guaranteed (for Hill, practical guarantees are around $72MM).

Wow didn't know he passed him with the guaranteed money yikes! Lamb is about to get 80+

CEEDEE get ready, Jerry the leaves are falling

I would like to see the actually break down by year. Most likely a ballon payment in year 4 that will most likely call for a new contract or him being released. $77M over a 4 year period can be misleading.

CD will be expecting $100M guaranteed.

Oh you know he will, leave it to Jerry to ACT tough only to pay this amount

Again, we need some more details. If that $77MM is practical guaranteed money (instead of actual guaranteed), it's still the highest but not out of the range given Hill was practical guaranteed $72MM.

Listen to you. You claim that a front office with 37 wins in the last 3 seasons are football idiots. Any team that wins 12 games is competing.
