Don't get me wrong, I like Crayton, but I don't think much of Crayton as a #2WR. .

We can agree on that. I like him in the slot and would prefer he was the WR3. If Austin comes on--which could happen---that is what we'll have.

In our dream world: Roy = Fitz-lite, Austin = Boldin-lite, and Crayton = Breaston-lite. If that came true, then add in Witten ( I guess Pope would be Witten-ultalite :) ) we could never ask for more.

Crayton is a SLOT!

That's why the question was clarified to mean 2nd leading WR....so in this case a guy like Welker is WR2 as well.

Yet Welker is almost exclusively a slot wr for the Pats

I got that.

I just dont agree with the setup.

Crayton, if we are giving numbers, is fighting for #3 IMO.

1. Roy
2. Witten
3. Its open

I would put a pass catching RB before Crayton.

yes....That's why I mentioned Welker. Because he is his team's second leading WR and he happens to work out fo the slot.

I think Crayton is better suited for the slot where his strengths are he is quick with solid speed not slow but not blazing fast he has good sizes so he is a good target over the middle. he runs good routes and his hands are good despite the Giants game drop. He can break tackles of slants; he sees the open seams in the field after the catch which i think is why he breaks some of the long runs.

Chambers is a #1 wr.

I'd say Crayton is Top 20 somewhere..

Chambers is clearly SD's #2 WR behind Vincent Jackson. That gives them a nice 1-2 punch at WR...then you add Gates, LT, Sproles, M Floyd, etc...and those are some nice weapons.

I had to double check and you're right. Man I thought Chambers had better numbers than he does. He must have got hurt or something...

I think Chambers was hurt some, so good call.

I think Vincent Jackson could well be in the Pro Bowl this year. He had over 1000 yards last year but is just now coming on. He's 6'5, 240, and runs 4.4....a freak with hands. Norv Turner thinks he's going t be amazing.
