Yep, the finest Conference USA could offer, Kevin Sumlin, poor man has a hornet's nest to deal with.

Sounds like someone has a Texas-sized case of SEC envy.

Thanks for the Aggie talking point, but no, try again.

I'm not even sure what the point of this thread is. If the insinuation is that the article you posted is in some way indicative of a financial shortfall of our move to the SEC then you never understood that aspect of the move in the first place. The venue for the A&M/Arkansas game has literally nothing to do with the financial benefits of the SEC.

If you already knew this, then you're simply wasting bandwidth.

A&M receives more in private donations and generates more revenue in a year than Baylor does in a decade. Only three athletic programs in the country generate more annual revenue.

Again, what the hell is the point of this thread? To poke fun at mean old "aggy"? You got us good my friend.

I think it's A&M that apparently never understood the move in the first place, they clearly didn't think it through and it's HILARIOUS.:D

Nice spin though, you dizzy?

Wah, wah, wah a state school that hordes oil revenue is now talking trash to a private school a fifth it's size that out performs it, wah, wah, wah.

You yourself cited revenue as the reason to go to the SEC, now your incredulous argument is to say you've got plenty of money and it doesn't matter, wah, wah, wah.

The financial benefits are due to the revised television deal that the SEC is going to get this summer, which is expected to be the largest contract in the history of network broadcasting. Each SEC program is expected to get a cut in excess of $30 million ANNUALLY, which is over $10 million more then we would have received each year in the Big XII. If you combined that money with the revenue and donations A&M received this athletic year A&M will theoretically be pulling down more total revenue than every athletic program except Florida.

So I ask again, what is your point here?

Do the rich often turn down opportunities to make more?

That you're thin skinned and easy to aggravate, thanks for playing.

The reality is in the headlines, A&M screwed the pooch and you are playing damage control and spinmeister as always, never has a single forecast you prognosticate come to pass.

Great smack talk, let's throw in some basic arithmetic, this will go beyond counting the fingers and toes they probably taught you at A&M, so try to keep up. Those obscene class sizes are the the problem of overflowing state schools, not a private university with 18 to 1 student/ faculty ratio.

That's all? Hell, every A&M fan alive expected us to get killed by the headlines long before the move was announced as final. Did ANYONE honestly believe the media would cast this move in a positive light? I certainly didnt know anyone who thought it would go down like.

UT is the straw that stirs the drink in the eyes of the media in this state. I can't fathom a situation in which we wouldnt have been made out to be the bad guy in all of this.

Did it ever occur to you that A&M is reamed for it's stupidity because it acts stupid? Something to ponder.
