SEC envy, pure and simple.
Hmm, you are delusional, I'm sure those seven ranked teams in the Big 12 are ever so envious of having the BCS's top ranked conference entering next season.

What is A&M ranked again? Oh that's right, thanks for proving your delusion of grandeur is alive and well, how old is it now, about 15 seasons and counting?

Clearly we all envy this reputation:http://www.aolnews.com/2007/07/26/dirtiest-football-programs-3-texas-aandm/

LOL, A&M's greatest success came in the 80s under the scandalous reign of Jackie Sherrill who narrowly avoided giving A&m the death penalty due to political wheeling and dealing that saved their butt, in fact so grievous are A&M's cheating infractions that they rank among the 10 most marred athletic departments in the NCAA's history.

http://www.associatesdegree.com/2011/03/08/10-most-corrupt-college-athletic-programs/

But despite their penchant for bending the rules and proclaiming each new coach a savior they quickly fall back into mediocrity, they have won less than Baylor in the last four years and have identical records to Baylor in four of the last nine seasons, hardly any envy.

No one envies A&M, the fact you are ignorant of them is partially a blessing but don't interject yourself in something you know nothing about.

That line makes me laugh, especially when you keep trying to push that Sherrill brought TAMU its greatest success. While digging up all of TAMU's trash why don't you tell us about the trouble Baylor's basketball program got into and the harsh penalties they received. Nothing is as disgraceful as that basketball program had become.

Well if they are such a trashy organization like you proclaim why do you waste so much bandwidth talking about them? You aren't fooling anyone.

His football team has done well this year. The QB just won the highest award in college football. The men's and women's basketball teams are ranked. ATM is gone to the SEC.

Yet instead of talking about the good things with his team and the happiness that the big old bad ATM are out of the big 12....he chooses to whine about ATM every chance he gets.

Reminds me of a tattoo I seen once. A skins fan has a tattoo of a Cowboys Star on his arm with a big red circle around it and a slash through it. I thought to myself...this guy could have just got a tattoo of the Commanders logo but instead he hates another team more than he loves his own team.

Just crazy...even worse when they try to act like it is not the case.

No one made you read anything, nor has anything untrue been said about them, your twisted panties are a personal qualm.

The article was an aside comment and ribbing, the subsequent "why are you picking on me" posts have simply been answered, which is ironic from an organization and fanbase that has long liked to kick others when they're down.

I've attacked no personal poster nor fan, I've made light of aggie hubris because it is amusing because it repeatedly comes back to bite them, i was content to post the article and let it be read, the three pages of comments that followed just goes to show aggies are sensitive about their perception.

Poor analogy as the Cowboys have accomplished something and don't crow about mediocrity or feel inflated by demeaning others, nor do they have a reputation as a cult or of cheating.

The Commanders live in divisional shadow of choice because George Allen had to create some reason to motivate his team, the Commanders and not the Cowboys closer resemble the aggies, obnoxious fans and fight song, next year is their year every off season, perpetual firing of savior coaches, similar uniform colors, constantly comparing themselves to another team.

I've never compared what i like to A&M, I just enjoy ribbing them, but it does seem to incite tantrums like clockwork.

You're apparently tone deaf to ribbing someone and taking some piss out of them versus unsubstantiated whining, again, that's your problem. You keep posting so there you go.

How many players had to be murdered before Sherrill left and the program cleaned up? Nothing TAMU did will ever top what happened with the Baylor basketball program.

You are the one that throws tantrums when anyone says anything contrary to your obsessive nature about ATM. Dude...be happy your school is doing well and going in the right direction instead of wasting time on ATM...they are gone.

Seriously.

LOL, so easy to get under your skin, true Dave Bliss was ironically revealed to have helped pad grades to keep a couple of players on scholarship after a former student murdered a player.

But no active Baylor student has ever drawn a sword and had to be restrained from murdering a cheerleader on tv, that much i take pride in.

How about you take it in stride that you're being teased for yet another national blunder? instead it's "us against the world" or an attempt at tit for tat with apples and oranges, just doesn't work.
