An Aggie Joke Wrote Itself Again

Did it ever occur to you that A&M is reamed for it's stupidity because it acts stupid? Something to ponder.

Our administration felt the lack of program stability within the Big XII, as well as the prospect of a better television deal with increased revenue, was reason enough to change conferences. Everything else is just banter between fanbases.

Had the SEC come calling in Waco, Baylor wouldnt have been able to sign on the dotted line fast enough and don't you doubt it for a second. I read more than a few threads on that baylorfans site BEGGING Starr to try and hitch his wagon to A&M to the SEC, and who could blame them? The Big XII appeared ready to go under and they were at risk of being left out in the cold. How can you in good faith sit here and blame us for a move your program and most others in the country would have jumped at the chance for?

Dude Aikbach, what the hell is your problem? Serious question. You act like a jealous kid.

I have no affiliation to either school, and I'm not a fan of A&M. But man, get over it.

3% of the student body is in the corps and we're less ethnically diverse than UT, so we're essentially the equivalent of **** Germany. It's what passes for humor in certain places.

I have to agree. As annoying as 30yard is with the A&M stuff I think Aikbach is even worse.

ERRRRR, i love aggie jokes like any orange blooded longhorn, and love making fun of them as much as possible, so i appreciate the efford, but this thread makes no sense, all the article talks about is one game! in a city with little ties to both schools!

if anything they should move the game to houston

Don't have a problem, just amused by aggie incompetence and subsequent spin.

Not very bright to seek a venue they cant sell, apparently attendance peaked at 66k, even Baylor vs Texas tech fetched 72k at the same stadium...in 2009 when neither team was hot

Poor TAMU only made $7.1 million over two years for a non-conference matchup. This is more money than most bowl games pay out each year, woe are they!

That's what I thought he meant but didn't have the cajones to say it.I'm not an Aggie, but highly respect the school and the Corp. Have, and had,a lot of friends who served with me who were Corp members. Seems to be a sign of the times again.<rant off>

There's a big difference between poking fun at some of their strange antics and calling them "Hitler Youth".

Then what the hell does that make the service academies and Virginia Tech? They must be lynching gypsies as we speak.
never heard of aggies being racist against gypsies. I used to have a family that lived across the street that called themselves gypsies, seemed nice enough to me. Are gypsies not allowed in the service academies or Virginia Tech?

All one has to do is look at the bottom of your posts....Your BIAS is showing!

A&M. The team that could, and now couldn't.

The following will be bloody. Please. Close your eyes.

I think I found the problem. Final conference match up.

55-28

or is this the problem?

Texas A&M-Baylor: All-Time Record
68-31-9 63.0%
LOL, A&M's greatest success came in the 80s under the scandalous reign of Jackie Sherrill who narrowly avoided giving A&m the death penalty due to political wheeling and dealing that saved their butt, in fact so grievous are A&M's cheating infractions that they rank among the 10 most marred athletic departments in the NCAA's history.

http://www.associatesdegree.com/2011/03/08/10-most-corrupt-college-athletic-programs/

But despite their penchant for bending the rules and proclaiming each new coach a savior they quickly fall back into mediocrity, they have won less than Baylor in the last four years and have identical records to Baylor in four of the last nine seasons, hardly any envy.

No one envies A&M, the fact you are ignorant of them is partially a blessing but don't interject yourself in something you know nothing about.
